Well, given that funky is a jazz-man's word, or even more specifically a blues-man's word, then St. Louis would qualify. But do you know what the word actually means? It means "smells like a woman" in a sexy way. As in "What's that smells like fish, Mama?"

I saw an old abandoned town on the old route 66 two days ago. it had some wild colored buildings. Definitely a funky town.

bakersfield ca is a funky town it,s at the base of the tehachapi
mountains going towards los angles but if you were to ask me
