My mother and Aunt haven't spoken since i was 11, now i'm 14. my mom now wants to get back in touch with her but i don't want them too. My cousin had a baby last year who my mother's never met. i like things how they are as i can go to see my aunt and cousins alone. it's my aun't party soon and my mom wants to come but i don't want her to. i know i sound selfish but i'm just used to things the way they are now. no nasty answers please but what should i do?

Today, Sept. 6th, 2007. The sun was red. You could look directly at it and nothing would happen to your eyes. There was no pain in doing it. Then the sun turned to a some-what Orange color.

Went to my almost 37wk check up and they did an US and he's breech. Dr said that it was very unlikely that he would flip on his own because he doesn't have much room, now we have to go 3hrs away(I live in a small town and have to travel 45 mins to Dr apts) to get him turned...If we decide to do that. We were a little in shock when this hit us, although I had a feeling he hadn't turned yet. Any1 know the risks to my baby? I have been looking online but they just state they are small. I WONT do it if they could hurt him in the process and just get the Csection, but we are first time parents and are leery and nervouse about this. If we don't get him flipped my personal Dr will do a csection at 39wks. If he does manage to get flipped (58% chance) I will be induced at that time. I need peoples thoughts and comments on my choices and what you would do. My husband is so worried that when they flip him he will get hurt and I really don't want that to happen...

I just started taking a very low dose birth control after about a year and a half on not being on it. I started when the doctor told me to - the Sunday after my next period ended. At that point, I was on about 10 days into my cycle. My husband and I had sex around the time when I would *normally* ovulate (Around CD13-15).

Shamefully, I must say that I haven't been very consistent in taking it. It's been a very crazy month, and I haven't been able to take it at the same time every day.

I was just curious as to what the likelihood is of getting pregnant while taking the first round of birth control. Does it prevent ovulation immediately, or is a backup plan (like condoms) needed for a while? Anyone ever gotten pg on birth control?

Y do u think so also? I just want to know a guy's thought process vs a girl's. HEre's the situation. I was at my hubbys' aunt's place, and he called. We talked a bit and me spending the night came up and I said I didn't have any clothes. He was like, what do u mean u haVe no clothes? Then I clarified that I don't any clean clothes to wear the next day. It came across to me that with the initial comment, he thought i was standing there nude, that's why he asked the follow up question. This happened once before too, but i don't remember the situation. serious answers please. trying to figure out minds here. thanks.

I am getting married very soon, to a wonderful, trustworthy girl. I have been married before and have 2-kids from that marriage. The girl I am marrying is 8-years younger than I am, and she has helped me to make very good changes in my life.

But, the trade off is that she is kinda controlling. Everything has to be on her terms. She will not waver an inch on money issues. She has helped me to be alot more responsible with finances, but it is to the point that I am afraid to even spend any money without worrying about repercussions. She works but, I bring in about 75% of our income.

She is just so stubborn about everything. Do I put up with it because things are better in my life now. Or, is this just a prelude to what the rest of my life is going to be like.

A friend of my is HIV+ and I want to help him stay strong with a vegetarian diet. I'm an amateur chef so I'm very comfortable in the kitchen. My specialties are Asian, Indian and Italian cooking.

Where can I find a thin sheet of metal basically any size from 10x10 inches to 2x2 feet (any shape) It needs to be really thin though.

If you want to know what I doing with it, I'm making a collage of pictures (put in magnets) to hang on my wall but I need a thin sheet of metal to put them on, then I'll hang it on my wall.

Hello everyone! I am currently 18 weeks and 1 day pregnant with my first child. I will be finding out in exactly two weeks whether I'm having a boy or a girl. I haven't bought anything yet except pregnancy/baby books because I want to wait to see the gender of the baby. When did you first start buying stuff while you were pregnant? When I was younger my dad was working all the time and seldom at home. He also canes me a lot whenever I misbehave and sometimes he vents his frustrations at work on me. I'm very afraid of him as a kid and even now, at the age of 20 I still am. He also inflicts emotional abuse sometimes and tries to control me. Once he caned me and dragged me across from one room to another with force. Most of the time when he canes me I get red, sore cane marks on my thighs and buttocks. Sometimes the marks bleed. My memory of my father is not a loving one - I am afraid of him and felt no love for him at all. I was quite withdrawn as a child and a loner - I kept to myself and as a result my classmates find me odd and I was the brunt of their jokes, teasing and bullying. I sometimes felt frustrated at school and sometimes suicidal.
Do u think I should seek counselling for this even though it was years ago?
