I went to meet my ex boyfriend of 3 years, whom i am very much in love with lastnight, and he was telling me about the girl that we split up over, that he is gutted as he is in love with her but she told him that she was seeing someone else and all that he was to her was a bit of fun. it was hard to sit there and hear his feelings for her especially when i love him. I dont know what to do, he knows how much i love him. i am heartbroken

I just recently got the thermostat on my car replaced and the guy told me that I needed a coolant level sensor because the old was bad and so he disconnected it. After a few days I kept smelling coolant and I looked for leaks under the car but I didn't see anything... After that my temperature guage has been acting wierd. It keeps moving around. One second its at the normal temp then the next its close to the hot temp. And back and forth during the whole drive. The car is not smoking and I opened the hood after driving it for a while and it seemed to be normal. (I touched a few parts) Could this have something to do with that sensor I need or is this another problem...He also flushed the coolant system out when he did the thermostat.

can someone please give me some advice on what to do here. her dad left when she was five was never seen him again her step dad has never treated her like a daughter her mom loves her but they are not that close every other boyfreind she has had has used her and mentally and verbally abused her and her ex husband did the same always yelled at her never said he loved her always slept on the couch wouldnt come home for days when he did coem home he was always drunk. her heart has hardened over the years because of the abuse. how do i soften her heart again. how do i show her im not like the other. i have tried everything i can think of but it doesnt seem to be working. she told me lastnight that i was going way to fast that she wasnt ready for all i had to offer. she ssaid she feels smothered but she acknowledges that i haven't done anything to smother her. she doesn't go out with her so called freinds anymore because of me.-what do i do

I have recently been employed as a manager of a boutique. With the contract signed, stated that termation of employment should be given 1 month notice by either party. After 2 weeks, she hired another person to replace my position and offered me a different position with lesser salary and wanted to redo the agreement she gave to me. But isn't it stated that she should give me 1 month notice? I understand that she wants the best person to run the business coz I had owned a boutique before, but I think this is unprofessional.

I have several neons, mollies and a male swordfish tail (the female having died). Until recently I also had a male Siamese Fighter which had co-existed quite happily with the others for several months. Last week I introduced 4 guppies (3 female and one male) and within hours one was dead having had its tail 'removed' and the others quickly followed together with the Siamese which had never been bothered previously. The Siamese' fins had almost completely gone. Can anyone tell me why this should happen with fish that should co-exist - who could have been the culprit etc? ( I did segregate some of the fish I thought might have been responsible but still the fins disappeared). I suspect the swordfish tailed fish but could it have been that the neons turned cannibal? I couldn't catch it happening and obviously want to avoid it happening again. It was as if pyranha fish had taken over the tank? This was far too quick for it to be fin rot.

My father passed away two weeks ago in NC. I am living abroad. I flew home for a memorial service arranged by his girlfriend of 30 years. The girlfriend had keys to his apt and car and said that she would liquidate his estate, and that she had a Power of Attorney. She was not cooperative and did not want to share information. She gave me some family photos, my Dad's Bible, and his jewelry box. She paid for memorial service and cremation.

Should I hire an attorney to freeze his assets until the estate can be properly probated?

My Dad did not own much, but owed my $6000 for a car that he bought from me. I have the bill of sale and payment history.

Also, I don't want to find out that I owe medical bills, taxes, or other debts of my father's down the road. The family believes that he was debt-free, but we are not sure.....

I want to creat a VPN connection between my pc and one of my friends pc. We both use broadband internet and windows xp pro sp 2. I guess one of us have to be host and another will be client. I don't know anything about the process. Can anyone help me with details? (even how to find ip for vpn !). I want to do it by using windows... but if there is any good software...let me know plz. Another ques: is it possible to play multiplayer games via a VPN network?

People used to believe that the world was flat. They thought that Earth was the centre of the universe, they assumed these things becauser they simply did not understand.
In ancient times people lacked the resources to explain the universe, so they explained through religion.
I am not saying people were any less smart, but they simply thought in a different context. To explain why humans are here, why things happen the way they do, they came up with the most logical explanation for that time:
God. Knowing nothing of science, seeing nothing of the universe it was only logical that some great being was responsible for everything.
But NOW we have science, we have SEEN what is out there. It is no longer a matter of explaining it ourselves, but finding out the facts to explain it.
I'm not saying science is all correct, but what we assume from science is taken from actual evidence. What we assume form religion is taken from our own minds, or books written long ago.

While many people argue whether or not aliens "exist", others who are well beyond that point ask WHY are some alien races are creating alien-human hybrids?

Is it to improve themselves? Is it to improve us, and we're merely their creation? Is it to merge our biological defenses against micro-organisms? It may be something well beyond our understanding, but we can still speculate. Their technology may be well beyond ours, but perhaps not to the point where we cant obtain at least a vague idea of their intentions.
