i have ordered a setee which
h 88 x w 202 x d 94 cm would it fit through a door at
190 hight x 79cm width
only sensible anwers please

Same answer to same question. Normally you can get a settee through a door upended and first slide the backrest around one door post then the rest will follow .... BUT ... your settee is longer than the door is high .... so.... the only potential is having the settee base at 45 degree or so the front edge and the seat back slide past one door post and the back base edge slides past the other. Despite everyone's mathematical solutions, the settee base and back are neither simple flat surfaces and have a thickness of their own and then you have to consider any arm rests too. The only way to be sure is to visit the showroom and ask a sympathetic assistant to help measure the tilted settee to see how it compares. If you've ordered from a catalogue, then you may be in for a bit of a problem. Having estimated a typical thickness of backrest cushion and also estimated typical height of armrests, I calculate a min required door width of 90 cms to get through. You may be lucky though.
