I am looking for a book that has several pictures of things (people, places, food/drinks etc.) that can be used to avoid having to translate the word you are thinking of; while in a foreign country. I heard of a book like this on the news once, if you know what I'm talking about, please help me find a website where I can purchase one. thank you : )

If it were a choice y would there be an initial feel of shame. Y would people chose to be something and then try to hide. So it must not be a choice. It must be something that is predetermined. If it is predetermined, then that means god made them that way. And since god is infallible then being gay can't be wrong.

I've been dating this person for a month. and i recently checked his text messeges without his permission. i found out that his ex kept on sending nastie sexual comments. i was so hurt. (i know i shouldn't check his phone without his permission)

Here in India, only few states like Gujarat and Maharashtra and Punjab are earning states. Whatever the taxes are collected by central govt. have the more than 80% contribution from these states. All other states like Bihar, UP, W.Bangal have a very few or near to zero contribution. Again, all these states get money from central govt. which in fact is contributed by the earning states. Now, should these earning states get seperated from India because after seperation their growth rate will be very much higher than the existing one. The people will be living life of higher standard. The money which is wasted on other useless or lazy states can be used for better infra-structure and better upliftment of people. There are so many people living in poor condition in these earning states. This money can be used for them. Also, communist govts. like W. Bangal are parasites living on this democratic tree. They abuse states like Gujarat and maharashtra for their capitalisitc policies and at the same time take their hard earned money for so called development in their own states from central govt.

Personally, I just need a little time and space. And when people try to invade that little time and space I need I tend to snap. I'd rather to wait until my anger subsides and I can speak rationally again.

My mother and father in law have moved in with me and my family and she likes to put her nose where it doesn't belong. I've managed on my own since I was 16 and I think I've done pretty damn well for myself considering. How is she going to tell me how to live when she is living in my house? She apologizes but doesn't she understand my emotions are not on her time schedule? Am I being irrational?

I have a roommate that is not up to date in her payments, including the mandatory deposit.

The Landlord we are renting from has already given her a 3-day notice to pay or quit and she has exceeded that notice and has still not left. My question is, am I allowed to remove her things from her room, not getting rid of them, but leaving them in the house for her? Allowing her to stay in the house, just not in her room?

She has not been living in the house for even a single night for the entire month, but her ex boyfriend has been living there instead.

The first is coming and I need to get someone in there that will actually pay her rent!


Please help!

While driving, is it better for the car's health to go over bumps (specifically, a railroad crossing) at high speed, or slowed down? I thought that at high speed that the vehicle's momentum is forward, thus, the suspension takes less punishment. Am I wrong?

i acted like a total idiot..judge
after class he wanted to walk me to my car but i would act so stupid and act nervously and say "no..no..go that way your car is over there..no i dont want you to walk that much..ahhh...well ok" but i would like say it so dumb..all the time every time he tried to walk me somewhere and then i called him and he would sound sleepy or something and i would go "oh nooo im so so sorry i woke you up i'll call you later ok? byeeee" and i wouldnt even let him answer...like an idiot! or he would call and ask something about class and then i'd make a long boring conversation just to keep him on the line but i think thats why he stopped calling me... i just messed this up...right???

My best friend has a herniated disk in her back and is unable to have surgery, because she has no insurance. She is having lots of pain, in her back, hip and legs and is having a hard time working and walking, She also has IBS with constant diarrhea. Do you know if she would be able to get her disability from social security with these problems?

I know not all Christians takes Proverbs literally to mean the "rod of discipline" is an actual ROD to hit a child with. But some, like my neighbour actually do.

Now as a mother of three, one in college, one graduating this year and another in Junior High, I know from experience that sometimes a toddler may need a little tap on the wrist from time to time. If anything it is more to get their attention and get them to instantly change behavior when necessary. However, this is a "quick fix" solution because at that age, they cannot reason yet.

What is far harder is getting your child to respect you and learn to trust that you know best, you dictate and their are repercussions for their actions that go beyond just getting spanked. I feel around four-five, they can grasp these things.

If by pre-puberty are STILL hitting your child, harder and with instruments to get them to listen and respect you, something is OBVIOUSLY wrong isn't it?

I have just had new filters , new fuel pump, new starter , new alternater and it has been ok for about ten trips {100 hours +} but all of a sudden every now and again she sounds different and loses revs and splurts out smoke then its ok again. what do you reckon ?

As a single parent, I have been giving her ultimatums for a few weeks, that if she doesn't at least APPLY for jobs and/or schools, she needs to get out. She's even been disrespectful to the point of laughing at me for being financially responsible for her while she doesn't even say "thank you" for anything. She just sits at home, watches TV, surfs the internet, stack the dishwasher, and occasionally walk the dogs. What do you think I should do?
