No!
Always Commando ;)
Otherwise, chaffing and bunching, and friction are a problem.
You can also get creams to apply underneath your shorts to help prevent chaffing and "saddle sores" Chamois butter is a good one - but I never use that stuff!
I don't think it needs to be said - but wash every use... but that is blatantly obvious...

Yea its a naughty no-no to wear undies. However, I think its gross not to. LOL I dont have the shorts with the chamois or the padding. I do wear spandex type of capries. I wear lace boy short panties and I dont have problems. The boy shorts dont have the elastic or seams to rub the groin area wrong. Also being lace the seams give. When I was starting out I was also using patrollium jelly to stay moisturized and all was good. Happy trails!

I don't wear anything underneath the chamois shorts . I know some women do, but I dont.
What you can do as well, is buy padded cycling specific underwear and wear then underneath non padded cycling shorts, that will give you 2 layers and that can be a good compromise if you re not comfortable wearing just the cycling shorts.

No you do not want to wear anything under your cycling shorts. The pads in the shorts are made of material that is supposed to be more soothing to the skin than most underwear. It is also designed to wick moisture away from your body to provide more comfort during the ride. Putting another piece of material between there creates more friction and reduces the ability of the pad to keep you comfy. Be sure not to wear short twice. You can prevent most saddle sores by keeping the lower level clean :)

Nope - you'll prevent the intended benefits from bike shorts from working. As a gal, you don't have to worry about the same issues as men with regard to bicycle saddles, but chafing and rubbing can be a problem if you ride for a long time. Put the spandex bike shorts on, and ride away. If you are feeling immodest, you can get lightweight running-type shorts that can cover you up. (My bike shorts are intended to be worn under exercise shorts, but most bike shorts are meant to be worn on their own.)

If there's a chamois in it, no. It wearing something between your body and the chamois would hinder the chamois' effectiveness at absorbing sweat.

nothing under the cycling shorts is correct. it prevents chafing and you will find it to be much more comfortable as well.
