what loopholes are there? such as drinking out of a flask in front of a police officer before they're going to alcohol test you (nullifies the test; you can't be prosecuted for drunk driving)

I'm Canadian, married to a Korean woman. When we got married, she was stripped of Korean citizenship once she got her Canadian one. But in Canada, they see her as a dual citizen. We got into a debate about which countries offer this dual citizenship. She thinks its rare, but I think it's common and that Koreans are too conservative. Anyone know the facts?

My black moor's tail fins and 'arm' fins are torn. it happened over night.
it lives with a fantail.
theres nothing sharp in the tank (cause i know their eyes are damaged easily).
he has lost alot of weight recently- but the fantail hasn't.
how long does it take for the fins to heal?
should i seperate the fish?
i have an empty, but smaller than what he's used to, goldfish bowl.

Why are we so scientifically illiterate, ignorant of others views, arrogant and ill informed..?

Why are we so bigoted and judgemental, yet are so insular, in denial and mostly in America..?

Why are we a threat to peace on Earth, and we judge others based on our ficticious beliefs, and yet are so often exposed as complete hypocrites..?

Why do we stifle young minds with force fed doctrines and fanciful religious rhetoric, and deny them the natural gift of a questioning mind, which are seeking access to naturaistic, real and verifiable mainstream scientific answers to their questions.?

Isn't this clearly a form of child abuse..?

If it weren't for our willful ignorance, gullibility, denial, scientific illiteracy and sheer arrogance, would we have too much trouble sleeping at night, or does our concience get diluted amongst our religiously inspired ignorance..?

I showed a picture of a wedding dress I liked in a magazine and website to my fiance and he didn't like it. Last week, I had the opportunity 2 go shopping 4 a dress & i saw the dress. Everybody in the store & my friend said it was the nicest dress I tried on & I discussed it with my fiance who at the time said that he trusted the opinions of the people I was with so I ended up putting 50% down on it. Last night my fiance saw a photo of me in the dress & ended up admitting that he thought the dress was horrible & couldn't understand why I would have got it when he had already said 2 me that he didn't like it & it didn't suit the style of wedding we were having (originally it was a casual wedding & I picked a formal dress). I got really upset & he's tried 2 backtrack on what he said as he feels awful, but I want 2 cancel the order. Do bridal stores offer refunds? If not, what do I do? I don't want 2 wear this dress anymore as I want 2 wow him in my dress & I know I won't in this one

God is everywhere, helping Moses, helping Noah, destroying unfit cities, testing man, the list goes on.

I thought God gave us free will? So why did he help those in Biblical times? Is this not clearly against free will, helping the Israelites escape Egypt for example. He doesn't help citizens escape the terrors of dictators today or in the past, why should he help them exclusively?

What happened to free will?

and yes some people I know have died from cancer or they
are being treated to remove the cancer
or some people die from a disease that is not curable
and here I am the Energizer Bunny I could live and live for
the next 200 years and I will never ever die it seems to me

My husband and I live in a Christian domestic relationship where he heads our household. We live with respect an dknow our places but punishments are given out severely for any rules which are broken. Do other women live this way and if you do are you satisfied this way? They refuse to take any initiative. They barely have Baghdad under control, much less any part of the rest of the country. Their government, according to our own analysts, is incapable of sustaining itself without being propped up by the U.S.

What has happened in the past four years that proves that they have any right to ask us to keep supporting them, or that we're ever going to be able to realistically expect them to step up to the plate and give us a return on our investment?

to the gay/lesbian community, who here thinks my brother is good looking

I think he's a bit too geeky

personally I give him a 7 and a half out of 10...I've seen better (laughs)

He's into journalism, so he's written for a few newspapers (mainly Persian community stuff)...he also lectures, which has given him the idea of becoming some sort of professor.....I'd hate to be the one in his class....he'd get overly strict...

My poor brother reza is still in the closet and he's got inferiority complex issues
