You need at least one per person, maybe 2 each for the men if the chops are thin. Vegetables that go well with pork? Depends on the what your dinner concept is.
Are you grilling? Then have potato salad or cole slaw, baked beans, cornbread.
OR have a grilled veggie medley -- grilled eggplant, squash, carrots, red bell peppers, fresh corn on the cob, grilled okra (yes, grilled okra!)
Cooking the chops with a southwestern flair? Serve hominy casserole and make a salad of the grilled veggies (chop the veggies into large-ish pieces and dress with a balsamic vinaigrette)
Pan frying the chops? Have mashed potatoes & gravy or baked sweet potatoes and mustard greens or okra & tomatoes. Or grilled/broiled okra.
Other vegetable sides that go well with pork:
beans (all kinds)
cabbage (prepared any way)
zippy carrots (cooked carrots dressed with a strong french dressing)
corn
hominy
squash (all kinds - both summer and winter squashes)
potatoes (regular and sweet)
green beans
greens (all kinds -- mustard, collard, chard, spinach...)
beets (pickled especially)
to grill okra -- use small to medium size okra, at least 6 okras per person. skewer the okra on 2 skewers so that the okra is like the rungs on a ladder. Put as many okra on one pair of skewers as they will hold (probably about 8 - 10). brush the skewers of okra with a good quality olive oil and sprinkle with salt, pepper and garlic. Place on the grill or under the broiler and cook until they start to get some burn on them. Turn once and get some burn on the other side. DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THEY ARE COMPLETELY BLACK -- just get a little burn blackness on them.
Remove from heat and serve. YUM!!

If the meal is for mostly Adults, get between 15 & 20 Chops, 4 medium jars of Apple Sauce, 6 pounds of peeled- large cubed boiled potatos, and 2 large green bean casseroles (there are many simple recipes for this- around, so ask around for one). This is one of the easiest, least expensive, and BEST Pork Chop meals around- that MOST people like. Good luck! :)

Two chops per person. Depending on how you are cooking them, go with mashed potatoes and hot mixed veg, and a salad.

You should marinate 10 of them. But try them raw, you don't know what you've been missing. Raw pork is the best. =)

Only one pig should need to be slaughtered to feed 10. It would be best if you served a colon and artery cleansing veggie, such as swiss chard, to help push the decaying animal carcass through the colon of those eating the dead pig. A nice green, raw salad will help push the critter through their digestive system as well. Perhaps leave the number of a good cardiologist with your guests. They are going to need it eventually

If you are against homosexuals then why are you ok with eating pork? It's in the same part of the Bible.

You know some people that don't know you, actually spend time answering your questions. Don't you feel just a little bit guilty? You're not really funny you know..
