Right now I am currently looking for a new lever action rifle with the magazine concealed within the stock, either with a box mag or a short tube mag. I would love for it to be a carbine but I would settle for a small rifle cartridge like a .243 as well. I was thinking of a Ruger 96/44M, a Savage 99 in .243, or a Winchester 88. Any comments on these guns or further suggestions would be great!

My daughter is 12 and in 7th grade. She just started junior high school. She hasn't communicate with me, her father, and sister for a while. I have another daughter that is 9 that communicate & tells me everything and treats like I am her best friend. My 12 yr old doesn't talk unless she have to and spends every spare second in her room with her door closed. She doesn't even join family reunions or activities. I talk to her that I am upset about it. She say she wants to be this way and feels embarrassed about being with the family and is afraid that she might be with the family more than her sister. She feels if she is older, she shouldn't be with the family more than her little sister because she doesn't want to be more dependent than her sister who is younger. I don't understand why. I have a little sister too and when I was 12, I always want to be with my parents even if my little sister doesn't. I never feel embarrassed about it. Why is my 12 yr old that way? What I can do?

Now the sink is clogged and when I run the water it fills up on both sides and the drain is real slow. I've plunged both sides and nothing. Do you think the nuts are stuck in the pea trap? If so, or not, how can I fix this problem? I need my kitchen sink, please help. Any tips are welcome. Thanks in advance.

i dont realy want action but a little ok
romance is ok (but as a subplot)
drama is ok in small doses
i want just a funny(more for teen - adult but kid is ok too) stupid show (like Ranma 1/2)

...the first really facinated me, and the second just made me sick. I mean these people...they're normal. Sure they've done horrible things and diserve to be punished, but they're PEOPLE. I mean...this is a list of what they last wanted to EAT. And...when I read this it scared me so much. Now I'm thing Criminal Law isn't for me...how the you people handle this? Am I just weak or does everyone feel like this after they read something/ see something like that??

ok you need to know the situation first. there is a couple who just moved to a retierment home. they are 88 and 90. so they are rilly old. their daughter is handeling the situation w/ her agent though. so the daughter is living in tiwan and is in town right now. she is going back to tiwan on sunday i think. the house going for $1,350,000. we are offering a different amount.. a weird amount but still its an amount. we are offering $1,000,002. we do not know if she will take the offer or not. we are waiting for a call and the latest we would get the call is by tomorow @ 6:00 pm. we could have gottan a call today but we didnt so far. right now the time is 5:45 pm. our agent says that he thinks tht the daughter would probley want to just get this move over with before she goes to tiwan so tht she doesnt have to deal w/ it when she is there, in tiwan. my mom thinks tht we would have gottan a cal by now and she thinks maybe we wont get it. please help me. do you think we will get the house?

I have primary custody of my children: ex wife keeps entering my home against a court order. What can I file with the police to have this stopped? Prefer not to have to have sitter call 911 when this happens as this will upset the kids. Any suggestions? The courts move way too slow and I need this to end now. Thanks.

Well all of a sudden my eye started to get red and i went to my doctors and they said i have allergys. I never had this before i had it for the past 4 months ( April 2007 - Now ). My Optometrist said i might of devolped allergys to my contacts but i haven't worn them in 4 months also. My eyes are always red in the morning and somethings throughout the day. Also something i found strange i use to have pink eye about 3 months ago. Once in a while there is discharge but then my eyes are still white. Can anybody explain this to me ??

Hello everyone

A 240-110 stepdown transformer is used with quite a lot of equipement in my home and I have recently become a bit concerned about the effects that they have on the equipement.

Thanks to some web page I stumbled across saying that transformers can 'overheat' your equipement etc.

And since most transformers aren't made by any big name brands, there really isn't a way to tell if the one in posession is a 'high quality' one or not.

So my question is, do transformers actually damage your equipement?

Anyone have expertise in this area?
