Well, that's the wonderful thing! This life isn't all there is! Let me share with you a Scripture at Psalms 37:10,11, 29. You're welcome to look it up and read it yourself. It says: "And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more; And you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be. But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth, And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace...The righteous themselves will possess the earth, And they will reside forever upon it." This Scripture talks about living forever in a righteous new world. I once asked that question too until I was shown this Scripture by a friend. I hope that you will draw hope from it as I have.

I myself don't know if this life is all there is but I have some faith in there might be something else. So I wonder what that something else is? I guess I should stick it out and find out what it might be. Can't hurt. Things might not be great all the time living this life but it's all I have so I will make the best of it and have faith that maybe there is a reward for trying. Never know, the "something else" might be pretty cool.

I don't know what you're talking about. there are many great things about this life.
I think lattes, conversations with close friends, kittens, romance novels, soap operas, my husband, the great makeovers on what not to wear, my unborn child, cool shoes, and smoothies from the Orange Julius are a few of the reasons life is wonderful.
I don't actually believe this life is all there is anyway. I believe God has a plan for all of our lives, and we have to try to find that as we go along.

Shouldn't it be the other way around?
If there was and is more before and after this very life, THEN, why bother living it?
A really good friend of mine... I feel like she was born bored with this life. Nothing is taboo. Nothing is shocking or bewildering. Everything just is, as it has been since who knows when.
Doesn't that seem like a more painful existence than one where you have one alloted amount of time to do as you please?

Because you never know what tomorrow may bring...life up until now may not have been wonderful, but better things could be ahead. Plus, I also believe that we can all make our lives better than they are - maybe find a new purpose or reason for living.

There is a phrase people in Narcotics Anon. use a lot. Don't quit 15 minutes before the miracle. How do you know if you quit now, there isn't a miracle 15 minutes away? Since you can never know that, you should never quit. Pax- C

That's the best part of life. There's so much out there and most people know nothing of it. They only see what's in front of their faces.
When you are granted a life, someone, somewhere is not granted one. Live it to the best of your ability.

Do you mean that there is nothing else to do so why go on nothing more to learn. Well then why would you want to. Life would be boring with nothing else to learn. Trying new things That's what makes life exciting.
