Guys I really need some help with my dilemma, I feel like I have been stuck here and I am finally ready to move on...but need a bit of encouragement!
I am a 21 year old girl and recently finished my degree at university. My best friend - who is a guy - is a year older and we met on my first day of uni by chance, and have been friends ever since.
I was not attracted to him when we first met, but a few weeks into knowing him, and over the last 4 years I have fallen for him, despite him having a long term relationship (which ended), and me dating other guys.
This year we were both out of uni and working, however got heaps closer to the point where I was totally in love with him. We have never made out or anything, on the surface its purely friendship.
The problem is he is SO not my type, as in physically, we look totally wrong togther, and also his religious persuasion doesn't allow us to get married (unless I convert). So either way it wouldnt work out in the end...

Hey Ladies-

I am getting a box ready for our local support our troops to send out to our troops in Iraq. I have the usual-gum, baby wipes, hard candies, sunscreen, chapstick, calling cards, etc. But I am wondering........I make handmade soaps and some bath & body products. Would those be useful (like girly treats?) over there--or not? I have little 2 oz body sprays, some lotions and bath salts etc. Obviously body butter is out but would this stuff get used there--or should I stick to basics? Also--anything else you found useful over there? I also **heard** that disposable baby diapers are used for a instant desert shower (fill with water and squeeze over your head) hmmm, ever hear of that? Suggestions welcome!

Im kind of stuck. Im a 16 male, and looking to join the armed forces after college. Yet, i've been told that i am too smart to join the military. Im pretty smart and want to go to college, maybe an acadamy. But i am unsure of which branch would be right for me. I have a strong interest in the Army Rangers and the Marines, but im not so sure which would be the better choice.

i got a new 5 month old kitten from the pound, he was healthy. got his shots, he's neutered. He was tested for alot of things, they came out negative.
A couple days later, he starts sneezing constantly. I mean like 10 sneezes in a row. then he started coughing horrible. i took it he has an upper respiratory infection.
He was still very playful, he eats, drinks, poop, ect.
We take him to the vet, and he gives me, nose drops & some stuff to put in his mouth, every 12 hours. & i have a checkup again tomorrow.
But the medicine doesnt seem like its working. He only coughs and sneezes, i say once every couple hours.
BUT he has so much stuff coming from his eyes. & when he sleeps and wakes up, his eyes are stuck together. I wash him with a warm towel. but it just comes back a couple min later.
I'm very scared.& now my 3 year old cat is starting to sneeze & have watery eyes. I keeep them serperated .
I just want to know if it is an uri. is this normal?
i cry all the time, i cant lose them

Has anyone noticed this also? People who ask normal questions are put down. The people who answer questions get thumbs down just because someone didn't agree with the answer they gave. I can see where the thumbsdown is needed, but if the answer is completely opinionated, there is no need whatsoever. Not everyone thinks the same way as you. If you think a question is dumb, don't answer it...and try to spell correctly if you're over the age of twelve.
Does anyone agree with me? Just wondering
