We're going to Vegas in November and want to visit the Hoover Dam. I've seen SOOOO many different tours and can't find out which is best. Any previous experiences would be helpful.

I had major hail damage from a storm. A couple of days later a roofing company was going around checking roofs. He checked mine and said I had hail damage and I signed what I thought was just a form that I had hail damage for my insurance company (It was very hot and humid out and didn't have power for 3 days so wasn't up to reading anything). It actually was a contract to do the work. The problem is in the fine print it says I must give them the full amount I receive from the insurance company. I'm not out to rip-off the insurance company but I would like to get a couple quotes and maybe go with someone where I could cover my deductible. I feel like I was taken advantage of and feel soooo stupid for not reading what I was signing. I had 3 days to viod the contract but it took me 5 days to actually read it. Is it possible to somehow get out of this?

In my family, I'm the last one to know anything. I just knew my great-grandmother was sick, and found out from talking to my cousin that she's dying of lung cancer. No one was going to tell me till she was on her death bed. I didn't know my brother dropped out of school or had a drug problem until after my cousins who live hundreds of miles away. I also didn't know my brother, whom I'm very close to, joined the marines until I overheard my mom talking to my grandmother on the phone TWO WEEKS LATER!!! I also found out my mom was engaged through my grandma, who assumed I already knew about a month later, and my mom still has never officially "told" me. It just makes me mad that I have to hear things from other people even when it concerns me, which it has on occasion. How can I tell my parents I feel left out without making it seem I blame them for not telling me anything, though I do, I just don't want to make them feel guilty. I know they are probably just trying to protect me.

The 'genetic mutation' part of evolution is random.
The 'natural selection' part, the environment in which we live in, is not.

That is absolute basic, simple, introductory knowledge.

For someone to argue that evolution is entirely random and has incredibly short odds of actually occuring because of that fact, cannot understand even the first thing about evolution - or they wouldn't have made that error in the first place.

If you've made this mistake in the past, how can you argue about something when you don't know the very, most basic, things about it?

Am I white irish or white british? I get asked a lot on forms and such and I always put white british because i was born in kent but it stresses on some forms that its nothing to do with nationality. Both my parents where born in england but 3 out of 4 of my grandparents where born in Ireland (both North and Republic) so what does that make me regarding ethnicity?

My gf and I have been going out for over 2 years. For the last few months, we have kinda been on and off. For the last couple of weeks, we have been fighting almost everyday. Every time we make up and stop fighting, it's as if nothing has ever happened. So I guess you can say our relationship is extreme. It's either we're really happy or really sad/ angry at each other.

Everytime we fight, it feels as though I want to break up. And we fight about stupid things (I.E. I forget something, I do something she doesnt like...) At all other times, I love her so much, I wouldnt even think of breaking up.

I know this might be a little confusing to some (I'm not big on explaining situations), but what should I do?
