I would give him about $25,000. But there are a lot of needy people out there that I see every day that would get a lot of benefit.

I think I would give him about $10,000 (more than he had when he got up this morning, right?)... Besides....I have to pay taxes on the money so it wouldn't really be $80 mil after the government gets a piece of the pie and who says the guy that sold me the ticket didn't win big money in the Pick 3 or the Pick 5. :0) Just a thought!

Most of the time, the store that sells the ticket gets 1 percent of the jackpot.
But I'd grease some palms if I won!

the seller gets a nice piece of change just for selling the winning ticket, and that is in addition to the fee he gets for EVERY ticket he sells. I have bought many and he has made a lot of money from me and the many other seekers of dreams. I would however spend a goodly amount in his business. This way, he gets more profit and likes me as continuing to be his customer.

No, lol.
He's not responsible for my win.
If that was the case i'd need to pay everyone who's ever affected my life in any way, because they all somehow led me on the path to ending up buying that ticket that day with those numbers...
Even from the doctor that helped deliver me when I was a baby. If it wasn't for him/her I could be dead and not a millionaire. They are more important than the ticket printer

Nope. Yell ya why...a recent investigation showed that an inordinate amount of large cash winners in our lotteries have been by sellers. One case was recently settled where the seller checking the ticket told the guy he had won $100..and then cashed it in for $250,000. So unless I knew the person very well...they got my business and that's it..oh..I would smile and wave as I drove by in the limo.

No, I would probably give him something though. But I think those stores that sale the tickets automatically get money from the lottery people.

I don't see why. He just works in a store, The lottery comission pays the winning ticket store a percentage. So no. I would not.
If someone gave me a ticket. yes. (This has happened and the
person would not give the person who gave them the ticket anything)

I wouldn't give him squat. The seller of a winning ticket gets a bonus from the lottery so don't worry, he'll get a little piece of the action.

The places that sell winning lottery tickets actually get a small pct of the winnings, so you don't need to give him anything, not that you're going to win dolloar 1 anyway
