I believe in magic. I just think that, today we're just looking for the hollywood version of magic. It's not that straitforward until you see it for the first time. It's comparable to seeing a hundred pictures of machu pichu and then actually seeing it with your own two eyes. Their two completly diffrent things. And from there on out you not only remember it but other things become apparent to you from that experience.
I have a theory actually. I believe that their is a "magic" of the city. I'm not sure what, exactly, but their are other ruling elements besides earth, air, fire and water. For example the internet, electricity, metal, etc. Some people call it ghost in the machine but I think that people tap into this energy all the time without even knowing it! Like when all the lights turn green at the same time or when you turn left when you meant to go right and find a great new hangout or something. I know it sounds cheesy but magic, once you see it in everyday life, dosen't become magic anymore because its normal. There are a bunch of sites on this subject but they are all Wiccan based. Try looking at a few on quantum mechanics, or metaphysics. There is also a great movie about quantum mechanics called "What the bleep do we know" You can find it at most Blockbusters. Try it out. Maybe you'll find something there.
Hope that helped :-)

Let me try to make this true story short. My boyfriend was mad and took me to my best friends house. The only thing I took with me was a witches hat. My friend was a bootlegger so there were a few people there. Someone said something to me about powers, referring to the evil one.

This bolt of lighting came out of no where. We just looked at each other and I through off my hat. No one said a thing for a while.

I heard my friend talking to another. He said he went and looked at the spot where it hit. The spot showed nothing. Like it had never been touched, least of all by lighting.

Look up the word Magick. When magick is talked about so is spells.I believe in it. I was in a place where there was evil forces. I practiced witchcrft. It was needed. It came to me, I didn't go to it. As of now I am not a practicing witch. Never play with the darkness. Stay with the white light.

Magick is the inexplicable. Some magick becomes science. Some Magick is called Miracles. Some Magick will never be understood.

Example: (On a grand scale) There is no answer as to why galaxy whirl like carousels. Some say it takes place because of gravity, but no one has ever explained gravity. They only say it is a natural force or a natural attraction.
Example of Magick becoming science: Healers and midwives of many years ago would dip cloth into a cauldron of boiling water with various herbs before wiping a cut or wound to cleanse it. Physicians and clergy called this witchcraft. Now, it's called sanitary, not Magick .

Depends on what you would define as "magic". A miracle? Or a flick of a wrist that sends a bucket of cold water up off the floor and spills over the head of that guy you really don't like? That would be more like the Force in my opinion.

You would spell it with a k on the end (thank Uncle Al for this one) to differentiate between act of magick & stage illusion.

Terry, having fun answering the q's here? You have thumbs up for the answer.... regards.

Sorry, can't help you... there is no such a thing as real magic ... even though it appears to be so, science can explain it, eventually.
