Now the sink is clogged and when I run the water it fills up on both sides and the drain is real slow. I've plunged both sides and nothing. Do you think the nuts are stuck in the pea trap? If so, or not, how can I fix this problem? I need my kitchen sink, please help. Any tips are welcome. Thanks in advance.

Rarely can the sink not be unclogged - Pecan shells - I don't know!!! Ask a professional if there is anything you CAN do if it remains clogged. I don't think the pressure draino is designed for shells but regular cloggs. Maybe it will correct itself, sometimes drains do that.

I agree with RichZ. Hopefully they are in the P trap and then you can get them out. Don't forget the bucket or you'll have a mess to deal with after you get the trap off. good luck.

Put a bucket under the trap and open it with a wrench by turning counterclockwise. If they are there they will drop out.
