I have an hp-pavillion 760n and lately its been randomly shutting down. This is just one problem out of many but the most annoying at this point. I ran disc cleanup and defragmentor and that didnt help. I cant restore it to before when it wasnt doing it because System Restore isnt working for an unknown reason. I have errors popping up but invalid pictures or files and this morning once I restarted the computer again... there were a good 20 volume screens up. Thanks very much for any help you can give and just for reading it.

, mellow, calm they are) how do you get him to stop? He was around my friends dogs last weekend (chocolate lab and big white wolf dog looking guy) and it didn't go so well. He barked nonstop for hours running around lunging at them. (He is a Pomeranian.) My aunt is bringing her lab into town this weekend. I don't want to look like I can't control my dog again. What do I do? TIA!

if i dont vent it into the garage, i have to cut through bricks to get to the front of the house and then i would have a piece of plastic on the front of the house which wouldnt look right(imo). so basically i want to vent it into my garage instead of into the mechanical room in the basement of my house so i dont get dust or debris into my furnace but i dont know what the cons are of doing so.

Help! I have had 3 faint positive hpt this week. Decided to retest on Sunday, when I will be 5 days late. However, today I have just started with slight brown spotting, like my period is going to start. There is no red blood and to e honest, it looks like a very light brown discharge (sorry tmi). I know all about implantation bleeding but surely implantation must have already happened to get the positive hpt. I have no pain and don't really know what to think. I haven't even been to the doctors yet as I was going to wait to see the result on Sunday. I will obviously be going next week but just wondered if anyone had been through similar and what the outcome was. Thanks!

My four year old is starting pre-k this Monday. I took her to orientation yesterday so she could meet her teacher and see her classroom. She immediately went on her way to play at the centers. When it was my turn to meet the teacher I called her to come to me so she could say hi and she started getting a fit which by the way she normally doesn't do. Then when she wanted to go back to her "spot" where she was playing, other kids were there so she cried more, it was so embarrasing..lol
I don't know how she's gonna do on Monday. I hope she doesnt act up or cry, I've asked her if she's going to be a good girl and she says she is. Do you think she'll do good? What can I do to better prepare her?

I wanted to know some of the things you can do early on to prevent a miscarriage. Is too much walking and bending harmful for the baby...Sorry, I have yet to go for my first appointment so I'm kind of concerned...plus it's my first pregnancy. I left the civil service last year after 24 years following a problem with my health because of which I lost a lot of time at work. I was not sacked but paid off with compensation to pretty much go away.

Now that my health problem has been resolved I cannot get a job as all prospective employers go back to the civil service for references. The civil service simply tell them that yes I worked for them but had my contract terminated last year due to unsatisfactory attendance.

I know this cos one bloke showed me the reference. It does not mention the health problem or that they made me redundant with a large compensation payment.

How can I get round this as I'm getting loads of interviews but no further and more than a few have told me it it is because of my references

When you pass a military vet, do you proudly salute and shake their hand like I do, and say thank you for your service, or are you a liberal who sneers at them and says slanderous things to them or about them behind their back. I personally am proud of our troops, and I proudly shake their hand, say thank you, and yes, I even salute them. For all they do and go through, just so we can enjoy our freedom, they deserve at the very least that much from the rest of us. God Bless America, and God Bless Mr. and Mrs. American Soldier. For all they do and go through I is a shame that some people will spit at them and say slanderous things to them all in the name of "liberalism and free speech". All I gotta say is that if your gonna do that to a vet who fought for you and for your freedom anywhere near me, just give me fair warning first so I can reload my shotgun real quick. So, what is your stand in this, which do you do when you see an american soldier. Looking forward to you answers.

the car is a 1973 Pontiac Lemans, 350 V8. Water pump needs to be replaced. It's obviously a mechanical pump that's in there now. I was thinking of getting something with more capacity (to start off) as I feel the car could do with a better cooling system (and I have to get a water pump anyways).
I was thinking of getting an electrical pump as that would also free up a bit of power from the engine. From what I gather, by doing this it seems I need to switch to an electrical fan also. Is that the case? Any advice/opinions on electrical systems and set ups? Any recommendations?Thanks in advance to anyone who answers. Much appreciated.

My dog is a hound dog and we have had her since Easter 2006. We all lov her but she has one big problem. She loves to hump us. We have tried almost everything but she still doesnt know that we dont want her to hump us.
