Hello,

I was wondering about this.... Ever since a very young age, i never truly understood the concept of of the guy paying for every date. Especially if you see your girlfriend almost every day, it can rack up quite a bit of money. I dated 2 girls in my life that even on the first date they offered to pay half... I didnt let them.. but i LOVED the offer and it gave them more brownie points in my eyes. After a few dates I will let them pay for 1/2 because well for starters i dont make TONS of money and also i think its fair. Whats your opinion? Please post your age and sex.

yesterday,jube,who responded to my question about the constitution says that the ammendments i cited have not been taken away or restricted.
any law which opposes the constitution is a violation of ammendment 14.take the 2nd ammendment for example.clearly states that the right to bear arms shall not be infringed.doesnt say infringe those rights if a man has no license,doesnt restrict the type of weapons you can have.
furthermore the police are constantly arresting people for free sppech ,under the guise of disorderly conduct or noise.
where in the constitution does it say that you have to keep your voice low?
it says this right,and all rights,shall not be abridged.you can have your opinions jube,but im the wrong person to argue the cosntitution with.
furthermore,all citizens have the right to citizens arrest and police are not immune to such arrest.you may wanna check your facts before making stupid statements.

200 years ago black people were slaves.now the ncaap says black people shoudnt have to pay for the crimes today because of past history.the nfl could expell him for life on there rules.involving brutal killing of dogs.should he be given a lighter sentence even though if it was any other race white,hispanic,asian they would have to pay in full? no over emoitional answers please.

Can we know for sure that a god created this planet, solar system, and universe? Man has been using the materials here on earth to create new things for a long, long time. How do we know for sure that it wasn't a higher life form that isn't necessarily a god? Such a being could have worked alone with this world as it's personal chemistry experiment, or it could have worked in tandem with other such life forms.

Can we know for sure that what ever started life on this planet hasn't, in fact, died itself before it had a chance to show us how it accomplished this "creation"? The fact that not a single book on this planet dates back to the beginning of this earth, coupled with the inconsistency of the "holy" books accounts as compared to what is actually observable in reality, would make such a case much more credible than current religious beliefs.

With the multitude of life forms on this planet, how do we know it wasn't another salient but finite life form that created us?

"i put on a turn of speed that i would have thought myself incapable of."

i need to know b'cos i used it recently in an essay, and my teacher crossed it out saying that he had never encountered the phrase "a turn of speed". a "burst of speed" yes, but a "turn of speed" never.
the only problem is i seem to have read it several places before, only i can't remember where.
can someone help me by clarifying whether i am right in using the phrase, or did i just invent it. if you too have read it somewhere can you give me a reference, preferably from a classical source.

OK ... in a nutshell: Been dating a guy - several years. We had a LOT of problems in the past -- engaged at the time -- and got back together about 1 1/2 years ago. I knew then that he had a lot of financial problems. [One of the reasons we split up]. He then got an apt. nearby and a decent job - which I required of him - and had been on the path to regaining my trust and saving our relationship. When his 1 yr. lease was up, he AGAIN moved in with me [since he was never at his apt. anyway] and was to pay me AT LEAST half the rent. I had been paying for all bills on my own - even though he stayed with me. With him, Its been 1 struggled step forward and he winds up 3 steps back. I have been helping him at every turn - even putting a small debt onto my cc @ 0%. Now he owes me 2 mos. of 1/2 rent, along w/other money I have lent him. And today he's gotta put $450 toward truck repair. I tell him that something must be done. He's upset with his finances but makes no changes.
