I am just curious to hear what hand fate has dealt people in terms of property. You hear stories about people making an offer on their dream home, then things go wrong and the property slips through their fingers. If you have been in this position, what happened to you? Did an even better place come along or are you still dreaming of the property you lost?

If you've seen my other questions tonight, you'll know why I am asking this :-) But this isn't really advice for me - I would just like to hear your stories.

from a previous question, i noticed many athiests say that they don't believe they have soul!
so that makes sense! if you don't believe in the most abvious thing inside of you, then how can you believe in God. oh man, you really are far away...

what do you think there finest moment in history was its hard to chose 1 because the British have won so many wars over the years and given the world a lot of the military technology we still use today such as the tank the fighter jet etc for me its got to be the British people and its and its powerful air forces defence in the battle of britain an armarda of german aircraft coming over the channel and with inferor numbers the british never broke and the skill of its pilots was to much for the germans effectivly turning the tide of the war .

It has worked fine in the past, was mowing, then is stopped and wouldn't restart. Added some oil, full gas tank, checked the spark plug, it's a TORO and it's only a year old, nothing seems to be clogged, I tried waiting 30 minutes and no luck, any ideas??

i have to write a paragraph about this. so far i have Frodo has the responsibility to destroy the ring at Mount Doom. is it Ind. Responsibility when Gandalf like protects the gang from the balrog? and wat about when Aragorn like takes the lead? do u no any other examples of Ind Responsiblity i can use?

when my friend left the room the other day i broke something in his room on purpose. In my mind I was saying, there's something else less he has and a happy thoughts came to my mind. After I broke i hid it in the closet. I also have damaged expensive cars and i don't feel guilty about it. Why do I get such joy from this?

I am a TV addict.I watch a lot of American seires and sitcoms mostly and I wanna speak with an American accent and don't wanna forget the English I learnt.The problem is when school starts I don't have time to watch much TV and I gotta find some other source to learn English and I am really scared of forgetting what I've already learnt.I mean there must be some other way to learn English besides watching TV.Can u help me overcome my addiction to TV and find some other way to learn English.Any websites to help me learn to speak with an American accent?

We have a 3 year old Golden Retriever with dry patches on his front elbows. He's been licking them a lot over the past couple of days so I have put some anti-itch ointment on them. Can anyone recommend a treatment to diminish/cure these dry patches so that he's not so uncomfortable? Any help would be greatly appreciated. He seems so miserable with this heat so I don't know if that's making it worse. Thanks in advance for any advice.

my family is gathering in 2 weeks for a formal reunion. my family comes from all over the east coast and me and my sister are the ones put in charge for cooking up this formal meal. i want something different but something easy and on the faster side to cook. meat wise ... nothing too exotic id like to keep it between seafood, chicken, or beef and im open to pasta or soup based dishes. I have a sister who is VERY materialistic, and she is making her kids the same way. She buys them nothing but designer clothes expensive flat screen tv's ,bedroom sets. Its just plain sickening,there also very ungrateful. If if not a famous brand they don't want it. They often tease my daughter because i buy her clothes from target and other cheap places. I mean it's ok to buy your kids nice stuff,but also teach them values. I buy my daughter nice things but she also donates to charities and we also volunteer with habitat for humanities to build houses for the less fortunate . She see that there are kids in africa who have nothing, so she wants to share. Isn't sad how or future generation is gonna be a buch a materialistic superficial brats? not really a question more like a rant
