Don't buy into that stuff. Seriously look at what most people get from past life regressions....how could everyone have been a shaman, or joan of arc, or a priest, or a druid or a witch, or a soldier, or whatever the common things are that they tell you. It's all crap.

Yes. A friend and teacher took me on a past life journey and surprisingly, I was in Mongolia. I had never had any interest in China, its history, or geography before that incident, so I doubt that I was picking up on some subconscious desire to "be" somebody. I found out later through researching the elements of my journey that the landscapes, people I met, and costuming were fairly accurate for the area in the time I had believed I might have been in. Since the format of this regression was to experience small snippets of advancing time in the past life, I died of old age and realized in the journey that I was actually dead.

I have been a certified hypnotist since 1954. I love regressions and have helped people through hundreds. Facts, 95-97% of the people who do regressions do not know their name(in the past life). their sex. or the time period they have returned to. The trick is to help them discover the preceeding with out giving them information to build a fantacy with.
I have done dozens of regressions myself and had one where I knew my name and the date of my death. two years later I was on vacation and went to Bismark ND to the vital statistics office and asked for a copy of the death certificate
I spent a few seconds reading it and the person at the desk asked if it was a relatives-No I tolder her it was mine!! It blew her mind. The date on the D.C. was 1879!!
I think perhaps the reason we do not know the information most of the time is protective. When I read the D.C. it was as though a bucket of ice water wenrt down my back.
If you want to do a regression or two do it ! it is going to make you think and may answer some questions. Don't be suprised if you see familure faces.

I've never ever been under hypnosis. But that would be pretty cool and a little scary. We go around the world not even thinking such things. That their were people before us and how they live. And eventually death does come to us all . But we are unaware of where we go after that.

Interesting subject this one. Elizabeth Taylor, Katie Price and Pamela Anderson all claim they were Lady Godiva in a past life, or so I've read. Lots of other people claim to have been Cleopatra- just how many people can have been the same person in a past life? It just depends on personal belief- do you get a choice of reincarnation, heaven and hell, or be ghost? Or do your actions whilst alive dictate what happens to you when you die?
I had a few strange dreams about drowning a few years ago which makes me wonder if that happened to me in a past life.

no but as a very small child I gave an extremely detailed account of a past life which my parents documented and which turned out to be very accurate. my son was born with a stab wound scar just below his left rib cage and at 18 months to 30 months described eyewitness aspects of the peninsular campaign and had a penchant for soldiers ditties from that era also. I have no explanation for this and can only swear to its veracity.

Never have been but strangely was having a conversation only yesterday about how much I would like to be hypnotised and 'regressed'. Would it cost a fortune to have done do you think - in the UK?

I would love to be regressed!
But knowing me I would bring out a character in a book I read years ago. It would be interesting though, as I'm not sure if I believe in re-incarnation or not - it would help me make my mind up.

No, but isn't it interesting that those who reckon they regressed under hypnosis were always Egyptian princesses or something similar. They never seem to have been scullery maids or serfs.

I don't believe in reincarnation now, but I did when I was Emily Dickinson, as I learned in one of my regressions.
