It has worked fine in the past, was mowing, then is stopped and wouldn't restart. Added some oil, full gas tank, checked the spark plug, it's a TORO and it's only a year old, nothing seems to be clogged, I tried waiting 30 minutes and no luck, any ideas??

Seems odd such a new mower is having problems already.
Does it turn over and try to start? Check for spark first, remove the sparkplug and put a paperclip in the boot, and touch a metal surface with it , and try to start it- should be a bright blue spark. If theres no spark, it could be the magneto. If theres spark , check for fuel at the carb - remove air cleaner and dump a small capful of gasoline into the carb and see if itll start ( it should) - if it starts and dies- then its a blockage in the fuel system. It could be a clogged fuel filter, or some debris in the carb. If its the carb, it needs to be removed and cleaned out.

Clean air, spark, and good gas...that's what you need. Try starting it without the air filter. If it starts without the filter, go to the hardware store and get a new air filter and replace the old one. Check for spark, and if that is not the problem, then it could be water in the gas, which may have gotten into the carb. Drain the gas tank, and carb float bowl, and use fresh gas. Hope this helps. Good Luck.

sounds like you may have water in your carb. Check the plug for water and also check the spark with plug wire on plug and laying on metal part of engine while someone pulls the rope. If no spark see a dealer for warranty. Good luck.

i would check the gas line to the carb from the gas tank to see if there is holes cracks or anything in the line.. if that dosent work take the carb off and look for "gunk" in there becuz if thats the case it is not gettin enough or any gas through there.. make sure there is not to much oil that is not good. good luck hope it helps

Probably a safety contact went bad. Clean them off with a wire brush or screwdriver end. If it's a pushmower it probably only has one. If it's a zero turn it has a bunch.

Could also be the carb float stuck. Beat on it lightly.

check for spark by removing the plug , attaching the plug wire , & laying it on the block.....must be metal part....if no spark....check adjustment on safty cable to handle....must pull far enough to allow spark....if has spark....check carbureator for fuel blockage......good luck!

The air filter may need cleaning.
