I mean look at his stats in the minor leagues,

In five seasons in the Minor Leagues he has a 2.70 E.R.A.

Shouldnt the Yankees at LEAST give him a chance?

Well, I just received an official invitation to take the Foreign Service Officer exam (US embassy). Now I need to start reviewing!

I would appreciate any suggestions for textbooks and websites I can use for review.

I already went over the Practice exam I ordered through the State Dept.

These are the areas I need to study:


1. Ammendments, Bills, the constitution, and major historical achievements in US history (an overview)

2. US government structure; its components, their
functions..etc. The basics.

3. Foreign Policy: Major historical events and achievements.
Also, a general overview.

So if you happen to know any great comprehensive sites or books I would appreciate it.

I would also appreciate any insight to preparing for the exam for those of you who have experience with it.

I have been having problems with my bf son for years. Last few times he was at the house he was horrible and I told my bf I didnt want the kid at the house indefinitly.Last night my BF had him stop by the house without asking me first. I am scared of this kid, I locked myself in the bedroom,and I am still a nervous wreck.He is 13 but is very big and strong for his age, and very unstable...cruelty to animals, violence, etc.He called when he was a minute up the road with his mother.He just walked in the door, no ringing the bell or anything. He hasnt done anything to me (yet) that would justify a restraining order, if I can even get one against a 13 year old, but I was thinking of sending a letter to my bf by certified mail telling him the kid is NOT welcome at the house(that I own) Before you call me selfish, remember that I am scared for my safety, or what he might do to the house, car, etc.I am sitting at work with my stomach in knots. Ok im 37 weeks pregnant and this is my first, so I pretty clueless on alot of things. Last night I went to the bathroom and my shirt was wet. I was lactating. I thought you start lactating when the baby is born? Does this mean anything? I know this is a pretty silly question, but I was just wondering.

My fiance tends to delete the temporary internet files from our computer. He must have forgotten one time because I found that "someone" typed in the address to a gay porn website...It was either him or his sister who visited for two. I asked him, and he said he wasn't looking at gay porn.

But then today, i was about to enter the living room...He was sitting at the computer, and a full screen video was playing, showing a guy masturbating...He heard me coming, clicked out of it fast, then said hi to me...I was too surprised to say anything so I turned around and acted like I hadn't seen it...and of course, he deleted all of the temporary internet files before he left for work.

What am I supposed to say to him? He just left for work...what should I do when he gets home later tonight?

Lately, he keeps asking me to give him a B.J., but I never do...Is he watching gay porn because I don't him B.J.'s, or is he bi? And if he really is bi...what am I supposed to do?

Why is english not the language of the United States? If we wanted Spanish to be the main language they would start teaching that in kindergarden. Dont we all basically speak english? I cant stand how the United States of America does not have a language.

France has french
Spain has spainish etc.... i think you can see my point

in ny state does anyone know the amount of jail time one would be sentenced to if they received 2 counts of a class a felony in the second degree?

The person is not a minor and has been in the county jail two times before. Was caught selling drugs (special k and ecstasy) and also received on top of the 2 felonies a class A misdeameanor for marijuana

this person is my brother, i am nothing like him, do not do drugs or even drink, have no relationship with him but he is being arraigned tomorrow and then i have no idea what will happen after that but i want him in jail and i hope they keep him in there even when hes awaiting trial

my parents have done so much to try and help him but he always chooses the wrong path. they are both a mess right ow and i wanna try and prepare them for the jail time he may face. if i were to guess, hes screwed.

The guy I like and I were talking about relationships, and discussing what might happen with ours. In a relaxed, friendly way. If I have a 30 min break after every hour spent on the computer would it be okay to spend for example 8 hours on the computer?

Or even if I am taking breaks does the number of hours still matter?

Can someone give me a rule of how long I should spend and break times etc.

Dear yahoo answer members - I am 23yrs old and this is my first pregnancy. The doctor told me she would like to discuss with me the results of the screening test taken to see if the baby might have down syndrome. I suppose this is not good news, and I have a feeling of what she's going to tell me. Should I be worried if the screening test results have come back positive? Is there a slight chance there might be a mistake? I'm just wondering if anyone else has gone throught this, and would be willing to share their experience or words of wisdom on the matter. Thanks.
