i picked up a nice magnavox from a yard sale its bigger than my original one it takes a while to warm up and it seems to fade when channels are changed it really looks like it could be a really good tv i'm just wondering if i could purchase a part and fix it. the picture blurs every once in a while is there anything i can do? Please only people who know about older tvs and how to repair them and i don't have enough to buy a new one so thats not an option. thank you

that the constitution states in the preamble that the goal of the rights and laws is to "promote the general welfare"? whenever someone wants to do something that's clearly malicious in nature, like neo nazi marches, people say it's there right. it obviously doesn't promote the general welfare, rather, it does the exact opposite.

also, we already partly outlaw that right in times of definite wrongdoing, like slander. why do people scream that we're infringing rights when someone does something just as bad, like promote violence

by the way, this is not an attack on america or it's policies, i'm simply stating the constituition limits the government. people like to think of the founding fathers as gods but it's not true. no one's perfect. the consitution can be important to our government, but it shouldn't control it.

Ok, for the past 3 months I have had this redish splotchy rash on the back of my neck by my hairline think extends up into my scalp. It itches SOOO bad and sometimes has a little bit of pain to it. I have tried everything to see if a product i use irritates it (i tried all different products for a week at time to see if it made a difference). I have also tried normal aloe lotion and steroid Rx lotion on it without seeing any change. Lately it has been itching even more and I am even having a hard time sleeping. I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas as to what it is, or what I can try on it. thanks!

my sister & i r really close.
we were having a girls day and the subject of guys came up.
she told me about this guy that she hasn't seen in 5 yrs.
she was telling me that not a day goes by that she doesn't think of him & that to this day she still has dreams about them being together.
things start getting interesting when she tells about how she went on Myspace.
she looked up his name & found his profile on myspace.
she found his picture & profile but she couldn't see his profile because it eas set to private.
so she printed out his picture.
she goes on & tells me how everyday for about a week she checked to see if she could see his profile and more of his pictures & how eventually she was able to see his page.
here are the parts that make me think she's going a little nuts.
she saved all of his pictures that are on his page onto a dvd.
& how she pretended to b someone else & sent him a message saying she was a friend of hers & wanted 2 c if he remembered her.

I just got a $6500 used car loan from wells fargo. I't wil be difficult for me to pay the registration fee (the tax is like $480). Do I have to pay the same amount in registration fees next year? WIth the tax on it? And my other question is, is if I say i bought the car for 4000, will the dmv know that i paid 6500 since i have a loan on it. Do they get info about how much my loan was?

I have a relationship with God, yet I don't go to church. By name, I guess I would call myself a Christian, but with the way Christianity is today, sometimes I don't like to. The reason I don't go to church is because I find that truth isn't always being taught and the Spirit of God isn't always there. I know that Paul says that we should not forsake fellowship, but when the people in the church aren't on one accord and when truth isn't being taught, am I obligated to sit there?

For the 3rd time, today, I heard a televangelist distort the truth of the Word of God. It truly grieved my soul. It grieves my heart anytime I hear someone do that. I just feel like they're openly despising the Word.

Now, since I've been out of church, my walk with God has been 2 million times better! I've enjoyed it tremendously. I'm not saying it can't be with the church. Fellowship SHOULD admonish, but I just don't see it now. Truly, I would like to fellowship, but how can I without truth?

i am 16 and just got my california drivers license. i know of the new law that says i cant drive anyone under the age of 25 untill a year after being licensed, however if my parent rites a note and their parents rite a note is it ok? can i carpool them to school? can i drive my sister with a note?

I have about $20,000 to play around with and I do not need this money to stick away in a 401K or an IRA as I already put money in there. I would like to put this money away in a Vanguard fund and let it sit for 15/20 years and then have some fun with the money. What would be the best funds for tucking this money away? And the most efficent for tax purposes?
