Only if you let yourself get too caught up in the b s to stick to your work.

It might or might not be.

First, don't overload yourself. You probably have more control over your schedule than you've ever had, and it's tempting to try to schedule too much, because you think you can finish in less than four years. If twelve credits is minimum, and fifteen is on course for four years, take twelve the first term. Three isn't hard to catch up.

Second, don't get behind. It's tempting to figure you can catch up on weekends, but you'll need those weekends for other things like laundry, visits home, relaxing, and term paper research.

It won't be hard if you start with a reasonable course load and stay on top of it. If you overbook yourself or slack off, you're going to have a miserable winter break waiting to see if you get to come back in spring.

Don't sweat it, its only going to be as hard as you make it. If you had a really tough middle school you might find it just the same- like I did. Make sure you get plenty of rest and get a good meal before going to school. The hardest time I think is not when it just starts because everyone is not sure what to think and kind of reserved. But once everyone has their feet wet and can move around easy it might get ugly. Best of luck.- YaYa

Most of the things that make freshman year difficult are all the changes. Suddenly you are in a new school, don't know very many people, and have to adjust very quickly. The coursework itself is not going to be very much harder than your eight grade year but it may seem harder due to all the social changes.

It can be alittle overwhelming with all of the changes, but just remeber if the upperclassmen got as far as they did so can you. Just make sure you dont stress over homework, because then you wont be doing your best, and study a few days before a big quiz or test, and the night before study only alittle. You should be fine!

The hardest part will be simply adjusting to high school. Work hard on your classes and you will get a "feel" for the way it all works. Eventually it will become second nature and it won't seem hard at all.

It will be hard if you don't focus on your school work. I don't know your school, but my freshman year was pretty easy, and I took 4 honors classes, sports and electives.

Hmmm. Sounds like a repeat of high school senior year.

Freshman year is hard because of all the changes. Keep your focus and you should do quite well.

Maybe... Just make sure to pay attention and to the work to the best of your ability. Also, if it gets too hard, pull out early so you wont miss out in any of the lower classes.
