Part of it is the culture in which she was raised and taught.
Part of it is probably her nature.
I don't care whether you and she can't agree on racial conflicts, but if she's still trying to be polite and decent to you, you are rude to ignore her.

For some reason she has to be LIKED. Some people are this way and it is usually when they have real low self-esteem. Generally, they try to act just the oposite. And they love put downs of others and a good healthy argument. They see nothing wrong with it and it helps to boost their self-esteem temporarily. So they do it. Everyone wants to feel good about themselves and get attention even if it means negative attention.
It is best to totally ignore her. Act like she is not even there. Once she gets tired of persuing you and conversation with you she will move on to someone else for her boost. Just dont let her get to you. The more you act like she is pulling your strings and pushing your buttons she will continue relentlessly. Show no emotion to her at all. She does not exist to you.
I am assured she will flee to others.

She want forgiveness and is trying her best to be nice to you. Be nice back, thats the only thing that will save the relationship.
Of course, it is possible she may have a crush on you. Hehe :]

She must have a little crush on you, but you bring in racial crap and that ruins everything. If both of you were blind, would race matter? If both of you were poor, would race matter? What in the world could you two little students do to warrent racial problems? Get over it.

try an learn her culture an teach her yours that could be a common ground to get you 2 started on a peaceful going, ask her about her culture even if you know some about it ask anyway
