john 14:28 reads--
" .......BECAUSE THE FATHER IS GREATER THAN I AM"

But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
Mark 13:32

Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God:
John 8:54

And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
Matthew 19:17

1st commandment: you shall not take other gods before Me! (God)

Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me

This point can and will be argued forever. The important issue I think is the spiritual truth Jesus taught. Maybe we should concentrate and focus on what a truly great influence Jesus was and continues to be. Sometimes its more important to find common ground than to stress differences. After all, we have the atheists to perform that function.

You are discussing the nature of God. Good luck with that. If you think that you will understand the nature of God better when you say, "You denied God while you know it!!" It will elude you.

The thing that we do know is who the power and authority rests in right now. It was with the Father while Jesus was walking on the Earth, it was given to Jesus after the resurrection. So is Jesus greater than the Father since he now holds the power and authority of all things? And will Jesus then become lesser than the Father when He returns the power and authority to the Father?

Please, do not carry on like this is some sort of sports contest. There is God, He is One, and somehow the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are involved.

I don't understand it, but I understand that's how the axiom is demonstrated in the Bible.

You go ahead and figure it out, I have life to live and a Gospel to preach.

Regarding "my God, my God, why hast Thou forsaken me?"
If Jesus was God, he would have known the answer to his own question. If Jesus was God, he would never have said this, because how can he forasake himself?

You also forgot:
John 20:17 (New American Standard Bible)
17) Jesus said to her, "Stop clinging to Me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, 'I ascend to My Father and your Father, and My God and your God."

Does God have a God? The answer is no. Does Jesus have a God? Yes, Jesus has a God. Therefore, Jesus is not God.

Here's more proof:

Luke 22:42 (New American Standard Bible)
42) saying, "Father, if You are willing, remove this cup from Me; yet not My will, but Yours be done."

If Jesus was God he would have no need to pray this, because he would already know God's will.

Well. Jesus is good. He is the Lamb of God without blemish. That is that Jesus never sinned against God the Father.

So? The wages of sin is death since the fall of the first Adam. Because Jesus Is without sin, Jesus raised from the dead victorious over the grave for us. So we who believe in Him will raise up like He Is, whole; body, soul & spirit. So? Jesus is the 'Seed of the Woman' who defeated the serpent & the curse of death.

I think your question should be, Is Jesus equal with the *Father*? Jesus is a part of God's Being, just as the Father is. As a man, He obeyed the Father in everything.

Jesus is not equal nor the same person.

Jesus is also Known as Micheal the Arcangel. how do we know? because the bible states there is only one Arc angel "leader of angels" that is none other than Jesus Christ

Jesus is not God. How do we know? Because god has a name, it is Jehovah (in english)

so are they equal?
All seperate names, all seperate personas'. Jehovah has no stated beginning in the bible, but the bible does say that Jehovah created Jesus as the first of his creations.
How many times do i have to go thru this simple explanation.
Grrrrrr

All men have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, yet Jesus was without sin. In Revelations Jesus refers himself as the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End....who would you say the Alpha and the Omega is?

Jesus is not equal to Jehovah God. He is his son whom sits on the right side of him. He has the permission of his father to do the things he does.

Of course not, neither did he ever Claim to be. God alone should be worshipped, as many verses of the bible verify. Those who worship Jesus as God will be abandoned by the Real God, the God of Adam, the God of Abraham... The God of Jesus on Judgement day.
