I ordered Hurricane lamps from them that they advertise as "glass" but they are plastic. In addition to this, they first canceled my order without telling me and I had to reorder. When I called to complain and ask them to rerun the order the representative hung up on me. Now, when I called to complain about the hurricanes being plastic and not glass as advertised the woman was less than friendly and offered me no assistance. My options are to return or not. I am going to keep them because I probably would have bought them even if they were plexi-glass, but the point is they should advertise as such. Thank you for letting me vent and share some insight with other brides out there. Happy planning!

THis is the whole quote...

i basically get the rest of the quote except for the conciousness part. I dont really know what conciousness is or what the secret recesses imply... maybe that sometimes you have to escape... HELP!

i have been searching the net over the last few months for information on buying an african grey and i am going to see some breeders over the next few weeks. i "THINK" i know most things about them from what i have read on the net but im looking for some more info from real people who have owned these birds as pets. i hear they can be one person birds? i live with my partner, my labrador, my 6 year old son at weekends and my partner and i are expecting another baby anytime soon.
my main question is, what should i do withing the 1st 12 hours of purchasing the bird and bringing him/her home? and also what is the best things to do over the 1st week?

HOW TO SURVIVE A SHARK ATTACK

1: Don't swim in the ocean.
Ninety-nine percent of all shark attacks take place in exceptionally large bodies of water also known as oceans. The way to determine if you are currently in an ocean is to taste the water, which should be salty.

2: Listen out for the music.
In the event that you are foolish enough to recreate in an ocean, listen carefully for the music, as demonstrated in the marvellous documentary film "Jaws." All shark attacks are preceded by the "daah-da, daah-da" chords, which will gradually become more rapid as the shark gets closer. This is due to the doppler effect.

3: Swim with fat people.
Try to surround yourself with more appetizing companions. If you know them well, you might even try to switch their suntan lotion with A-1 Steak Sauce. This will definitely improve your odds.

4: Don't panic.
In the event that a shark actually bites you, try to remain calm. This really won't help you survive, but everyone else on the beach will appreciate you not shrieking madly, as this is quite unsettling.

I am moving to FT Irwin soon. I am a single E-5, will I be allowed to receive BAH to live off-post? I currently rent my own apartment in Germany and receive BAH for that. I have enough furniture to fill my apartment, I cannot fit it into a barracks room. Also, can I go there and rent my apartment before I report to Ft Irwin? Then try to receive BAH afterwards?

im puzzled by the way professionals say, "eat 5-6 small meals a day".

that sounds like a real deal.. i mean constantly eating..hhmm..

so the question is..what do i eat? and in a small amount? how small is small? And what if im always on the go and that means i wont be at home to fix my own "healthy" meals?

ps. im asian, about 1.58m and 49kg.

i want to hit 45kg, nothing lesser.
