You dont even want me to begin talking about that cow!!!! She is the most 'hipo'critical person on this planet!!!!!!
i sent an email to her oprah show, asking if through all their sources--if they new of people who rent apartments at a lower rent than usual to people who are dealing with family members who have cancer.(at the time my daughter was battling cancer and money was extremely tight.) there are hotels in boston who have suites for patients who come out of state for treatment, and they dont charge them outrageously, very modest rate.
I received NO ANSWER from anyone in her company. but i get the wonderful emails telling me of what is on her show, etc. I actually sent another email after the passing of my daughter; asking her if i was asking for a makeover of my daughter would they have answered my email. Needless to say, she can kiss my butt.

Oprah can be quite inspiring and she has sure gotten a hell of a lot done to help the world. However I think she takes her power trip a little too far. Yes she is a good influence but some people are brainbwashed... "Oprah said this, Oprah said that." And some of her shows are really dramatic like the teenage girl who KILLED HER OWN BABY. That is off the charts drama man!

I don't think Oprah is a bad person, but sometimes I do question some of her intentions. It seems like over the years she has become apathetic to her guests and their stories. I've never seen her tear up or look distraut for someone who has gone through much, yet I see how excited she gets to hug or kiss a celeb guy when they are hosted. Her show is one of the few though, that has pivoted more around serious matters while other shows have gone off just making shows that will entertain people and make fun of others.

I've honestly wondered if she was the anti-christ.

LOL if you read the bible you'd know thats not necessarily an insult, just meaning thats how influential she is/could be.

I think she does a lot for international issues and sheds light on an area of the world that is often ignored by the american media, which is awesome.

However I do question her motives, it seems to me it's all "look at how great i am and what i can do" , which whatever, as long as shes helping who cares why... theres just something about her I've never trusted personally, though I'm a huge fan of Dr. Phil lol

just my opinion

The stay at home, middle aged caucasian, female demographic seems to worship her.

The James Frey incident sealed her fate for me. She behaved much like a scorned lover and the public brow beating was ridiculous.

I prefer the Oprah portrayed in the South Park episode where she shot up the town with her talking vagina. Good stuff!

Not knowing her, I have no opinion of her. From what I have heard, which is probably just a rumor, I would not brag about what allegedly happened when a child.
As to how do I feel about Oprah, I have not met her, so I have not felt her, but then I would not want to feel an obese woman.

oprah?? I think she's pretty much a hypocritical person, and seems to have an elevated sense of arrogance
(its all about mememe =} ).
But you have to admit, she's pretty smart to have risen so far as a talk-show host and made so much money by appealling to a target audience- by spouting her gospels b4 white women with nothing better to do than watch TV.

I watched just enough of Orca to quickly realize that she is both sexist and racist. She's an egomaniac to boot.
That was enough for me. To me, she ranks right down there with Rosie O'Dummy but I'd have a difficult time deciding which was worse.

Oprah is an exceptional human. Yes, she is sometimes almost arrogant. And, I believe she has more than one persona, but who of any of us does not. She is incredibly altruistic, multi-talented, sensitive, insightful, very intelligent, forgiving, non-enabling, has a strong sense of responsibility. She EXPECTS to see the benefactors of her altruism use the assistance provided to gain self reliance in small steps. She, to my knowledge, has only, very rarely, been disappointed. So, please, I'd like to know why you are so envious of her.
