It's fine. If it's more than 40 days that it can sometomes indicate a problem, but 33 days is within normal range. Women ovulate 12-16 days before their next period, so for you this is somewhere between day 17 and day 21.

I've been trying to conceive for over 2 years and it's making me a little crazy.. Just never thought it would take so long. Anyway, as far as I know your cycle may be changing which happens more in the summer months. Or you could be so anxious or stressed that it changed your cycle. I believe anything can change a menstrual cycle including the phases of the moon and ocean tides. I would take 33 divide it by 2, you probably will be ovulating about the 16th day after your period. Good luck to you and try not to be stressed out. I know it’s easier said then done.

My cycle was about 35 days and I thought I was ovulating around day 18 but then I purchased the Clear Blue Easy Fertility Monitor (worth the money to reduce the stress) and learned I didn't ovulate until day 25 or 26.

I'd go to fertilityfriend.com and start recording all your symptoms, days of intercourse, etc. they will help you draw out a unique calendar that will make you aware of when things are happening! it would also be a good idea to start taking your temperature every morning and recording that as well. good luck!
(and yes, a 33 day cycle is quite normal... you'll want to gather up the numbers from a few cycles and take the average to get your number) this will automatically be done for you at fertilityfriend.com -

I think it depends on how young you are. In my teens, my cycles were very sporadic, and I couldn't depend on a specific time of month for it to happen. I dont think there is anything abnormal in having cycles that are delayed, or early, as long as you are aware of the way the body reacts when you are about to have them.

Its good to count your days. Remember when there is 31 days in the month, your period date might change.
