I am a white women and I just want to know what provokes him to do this. I've been pushed, slaped and even once kicked. I don't want to tell anyone because I know he really loves me.
In highschool we really hit it off. Then when we got married he suddenly changed.
One day one of my African American friends and I were talking and this came up. She is also married and she said she would never let her husband hit her. What gives her that kind of courage that I need?

Any suggestions for how I can work the transition. The 7 month old will be easy (she's been in our room in a pack-n-play) it's a matter of dealing with the 3 year old. They are both girls, and the crib has been in the room the whole time. I've been telling the 3 y.o. that her sister will be sleeping the crib "soon". Also, how should I rearrange their night time routines, including reading books in bed? Should we read the books in our bed? Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

i was told by the mothercare staff and the instruction manual that the lap part of the seat belt fits under the red hooks and that the shoulder belt runs from the belt buckle directly diagonal.
ive just fitted it, and although its as tight as it will get, the lap part of the belt doesnt fit right under the red hooks, but underneath them and the shouder part goes directly diagonal locked into the red belt clamp, but is fairly loose after this back into the seat belt holder in the car.

is this the correct fitting? if not, can you suggest something?

I have to order them online due to....car trouble. I normally wear a 10 in Vans but I haven't found any I like. On the other hand I have found some nice DCs but I need to know if I should stick with a 10 or go a size up or down. Do they run small? Big?

In the last several episodes of "Friends," NBC paid the key *seven* actors ***one million dollars EACH... per EPISODE!*** That's **7 million dollars a week**, just for the performances! Not counting all of the *other* production costs associated with the show! And that was a few years ago, so a million dollars isn't worth quite as much today as it was back then. That network was spending BIG bucks on a mere HALF-hour-long show!

Fast-forward to today. We have the possibility of a contestant winning a million dollars on "1 vs. 100" -- but ONLY if he can get questions right until ALL 100 members of the "Mob" have missed them. Like THAT's ever gonna happen!

If you know the mechanism by which "Deal or No Deal" works, you know, too, that NO one will ever win a million dollars *there*, either -- unless they start having cases routinely containing more than a million dollars.

And "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" OBVIOUSLY accepts people who score *average* at best on their test.

OK so about a month ago a got an 8 week old kitten. The lady I got it from said she was box trained and I brought her home. Well I also have a 7 month old male cat and he uses his litter box perfectly fine. because I had to work I didnt want to leave the kitten alone with my older cat so I confined my kitten to my bedroom with a small litter box to use untill we were sure the two would get along and they could use the same. Well when Id get home id let her out and my older cat would want to use her litter box. she would still use it so she obviously had no problem using them same litter box another cat used. Well we just moved and now we have a huge litter box with a roof big enough for mulitply cats to use. It is alwasy kept clean. Our older cat will use it but my kitten wont she will pee and poop all around it and no where else. Its not like she doesn tlike wehre its at. Iv tryed evrything. Shes 12 weeks old now. I got to break her from this habit before she gets bigger.....

Your boss was giving you the day off, but on one condition, you had to do something you absolutly hated the day your off. you already agreed. Now he gives you 3 choices of what you can do:
1. Stay in a cage with george bush and dick cheny the entire day.
2. Listen to the worst song you can imagine over and over, all.. day.. long...
3. Sit in a burning building, with only a bottle of water and a flammable coat.
4. Dig a hole to china with a plastic spoon, in the 120 degree heat.

If you had to pick one task on your day off, what would you pick?
You can't back out of it. so no "screw my boss, i quit " answers, you have to pick one =)

I bought a used car last July that's nickel and diming me and now I'm ready for a new car. Final purchase price of the car was $17K total, including financing interest. Sticker was about $14K. This first year of ownership has cost me $6K, including down payment and monthly payments. However, Kelly Blue Book trade in value for my vehicle right now is a miserable $7K. So, even if I sold my car now for $7K, I'd still owe about $2K on the loan I'd have to pay out of my own pocket. And, on top of that I'd have no car. Any help in how I might get a new car and make it work financially?
