Hi, i'm having real trouble understanding the schrodinger equations (the time dependent and time-independent), can anyone explain simply what the difference is between the two, and what they are used for ?
Anyone that explains this as simply as possible, and without the use of too much maths will get 10 points.
Thanks, David.

My husband and I are having a discussion at the moment over whether or not to circumcise our baby if it's a boy. He wasn't done so he sees no reason to be done but I know a lot of other people who insist that it's cleaner and that women who won't date men who haven't been circumcised. What do you think? Men who've been circumcised, do you regret it?

Is a country an empire if it holds territories that they had to invade and establish their form of government many years ago? As in they invaded over 100 years ago and they still have their form of government on that territory/colony.

Question: Am I over reacting or what is your opinion? I am 65 and my bride of 14 days is 24. In no ways is it an arranged marriage or other reason. She was friends with and had visited with college friends (she is Chinese and the friends are also Chinese) prior to the marraige. She has talked to them since the marriage and informed them that she had gotten married. Last night, a group of them (2 males and 1 female, a couple and a single male) called at about midnight after we had gone to bed. Just to talk. Yes, they did say to tell me Hi. All conversation is held in Chinese which I do not speak. After pleasantries, the non attached male friend asked for my wife to visit them about 500 miles away. She declined because of drivers license and finances and marriage. The first conversation lasted about 20 minutes, interrupted by call waiting on their end and the second call about 30 minutes. why do petential employers frustrate jobseekers with experience, it is simply impossible to gain experience when no one wants to give you the opportunity to start from somewhere. I tried to apply for trainee accountant post but wat suprised when i understood that i have to have 2 yrs experience to apply, who on earth has that kind of experience and is still a trainee, sounds stupid, any ideas on why this is will be highy appreciated.

Well, at school I've been signing tons of important documents (like TAKS and lots of other stuff) as me being born in August 17th. I was searching through my documents at home and saw my birth certificate. Under examination, it said I was born August 16th rather than the 17th. Can this affect me, even if it's just one day?

I have a friend that has tried many punishments with her 14 year old daughter. Well she began to try alternate methods because everything else wasnt working. Well she found out her daughter she spanked her younger brother so she pulled her over her knea and spanked her. she make quite a scene. through a fit like a 3 year old afterwards. My friend said she was acting like a baby and she would be punsihed as such if she did it again. she told her she wouldnt dare. Well her son has had bed wetting problems and her daughter started to pick on him and spanked him for it when she wasn't there. well sure enough she took her over her knea again and she through a fit like 3 year old again. she told her i warned you and pulled out diapers. she diapered her and she spent the weekend around the house in a diaper and t-shirt. needless to say she never spanked her brother again or picked on him.

and were each murdered for the faith that they had in the keeping of those sacred LAWS. On the 3rd page of the so called NewTestiment, Mt. 5:17-19 Yahshua taught "Do not think that I have come to destroy the LAW & THE PROPHETS; I HAVE NOT COME TO DESTROY THEM, BUT RATHER TO ESTABLISH THEM! ***" Yahshua knew that the first thing that satan would try to do would be to get people to hate the writtings of the Law & the Prophets, because that is where the very heart of YAHWEH can be found!!! Later, while the Apostle Paul was emprisoned he was still inspired to write in Romans 2:13 "For not the hearers of the Law are the righteous in the sight of YAHWEH, but the doers of the Law are the Righteous!" Also, in 3:31 he asks? "Are we then doing away with the Law through the faith? By no means! Rather, we establish the Law!!!" Now, at what point do christians think that those holy & righteous laws were done away with? Are we more intellegent than our own Creator, to regect HIM & rule ourselves?!!

. Hey you feminists! Is it okay to be male? (If so, then what is the "male equivalent" to the word, "feminism"? YOU know, "feminism" expresses the idea that women are equal, and should have all the same privileges, and DO have all the same abilities as males. What about the belief that males are equal, and should have all the same privileges, and DO have all the same abilities as females? And I'M NOT talking about our ol' pal CHAUVINISM here, friends!

. Hey you non-Anglos! Is it okay to be Anglo? Am I allowed to be proud of elements of my Anglo heritage? There are elements, such as literature, philosophy, music, and so on, which arose from my heritage, and of which I speak here. May I be allowed to be proud of these?

. Hey you believers! Is it okay to have little or no religious conviction? I'm not convinced...

PLEASE UNDERSTAND, dear listeners and answerers, I'm not ranting! I'm asking! I'm glad to allow space for others...is there room for me anymore?

I found this in a letter to the editor of a newspaper:

I envision an old Iraqi man sitting at an outdoor bazaar with his 6-year-old granddaughter, who is coloring pictures for her mommy who is working as a civil rights attorney in downtown Baghdad. Her father travels throughout the country as a building engineer. The grandfather's weathered face will gently smile as she asks if he wants her to draw a picture for him. He nods yes as he reflects upon all the hustle and bustle around them.

It wasn't always this way. His thoughts drift back to a time of horrible oppression when he lodt uncles and cousins to the brutal regime of a ruler whose name never deserves mention again. As a convert to Christianity, he knows they smile from heaven at what has now become of their country. After a terrible, bloody transition and monumental human sacrifice where coalition troops, along with his own countrymen, finally brought lasting freedom, he and his granddaughter now rest in an Iraq that is a
