I was recently getting jealous of the female orgasm, being a virgin, taking the medias word for how intense it is. It started to get me down so I got in touch with some friends in the medical profession to get some expert information.
When I asked them if the female orgasm was much more powerful than the male orgasm, and if the media protrayals of it were accurate, they lunged at me! Accusing me of falling for nonsense and exaggerations in pornography and the media.
Apparently the female orgasm in those women who can attain it, in the majority of cases, is more or less equal in strength to the males, but lasts longer and takes longer to achieve.
They said that the media representation of the female orgasm puts stress not only on men who might feel inferior, but the majority of women who cannot obtain these over the top mega orgasms they feel they are supposed to - and many can't have them at all :(
Has anyone else found that the media exaggerates this concept a lot?
