The last week i have been feeling kinda sleepy and groogy most of the day, i am getting 7-8 hours sleep, and i tried taking an hour nap during the day - if anything it made the sleepy feeling worse. Can anyone help with a reason why or a way to shake off the feeling? - thanks

I'd go and see your doctor. It could be the onset of the flu, or your bodys way of telling you your not getting enough vitamins and minerals.

This sounds like classic sleep apnea. You think you are getting 7 to 8 hours of sleep, but your rest is disturbed. This is a common but serious condition where you actually stop breathing. (Do you snore?) Because you may find yourself falling asleep when you are driving or operating heavy machinery, You pose a danger to yourself and to others. Talk to your doctor about having a sleep study done. A CPAP machine could make the difference for you.

You could have chronic fatigue syndrome. It will leave you feeling tired no matter how much sleep you get. See medical doctor and get a confirmation of this syndrome. If this is the case you're going to have to do a lot to to take care of your body. Contact me once you find out and I will give you further information to help you.

Do you have sleep apnea??? If you don't know, get tested. Many people have it and don't know. Call your doctor
