i have horrible credit and need a credit card not a debit card or one that requires a checking account.

not to belittle you but why do you want a credit card to make the horrible credit worse. you may have to get a secure card from you bank tied to your checking account to start back on the road to recovery!!!

what about the cards they have at grocery stores now, they work kinda like a gift card but they are run by credit companies so they can be used as a credit card would be. basically, you put money on the card then you can use it at any store that normally accepts credit cards or even on bills you can use a card for.

go to your local bank
discuss it with a desk person.
they will get you one secured. you may have to put up a depsoit but they will help you
stay away from the other 800 credit card or credit card.com
they will rip you off and put too many charges on your card.
