why do petential employers frustrate jobseekers with experience, it is simply impossible to gain experience when no one wants to give you the opportunity to start from somewhere. I tried to apply for trainee accountant post but wat suprised when i understood that i have to have 2 yrs experience to apply, who on earth has that kind of experience and is still a trainee, sounds stupid, any ideas on why this is will be highy appreciated.

I think alot of companies look for experianced people to hire at entry level positions as a means to obtain cheap labor. Maybe they don't even have somebody working there with enough experiance to over see somebody in training so they really need people who already know how to do certain jobs.
I think you may stand to get a better job if you try to dress up whatever life and job skills/experiance you have to show how you can be benificial to a potencial employer. Maybe you have something to offer that most people who already work in whatever particular industry your tring to get a job in, generaly lack.
Sell your self and try not to sulk over failures, this will only make your job search harder and less fruitful.
Good luck.

It's called 'supply and demand' ...

Ph D's with 10 years experience from Poland are begging to be employed at £100 a day ..

If you don't have a Degree, I suggest you consider going back to (Open) University .. and to get experience, either find a Company to 'sponsor' you at Uni (or take a 'sandwich' course where the University finds you a placement) - and make sure you make the 'right' friends :-) ...

If you already have a relevant Degree, you need to contact friends (& their relatives) you met at Uni. = many of them will have parents who are already in this profession and they can help you find a position ..

Experience shows that at one time you had the humility to start at the bottom where there is sometimes little respect. Working hard without the glorification shows you don't let ego get in your way.

If you don't want to go through the process keep trying to get hired or just start your own business.
