Someone asked if I thought they were fat...this is my answer in what way is it mean or suggesting doing something unsafe! Someone gave me a thumbsdown sign and I'd like to know why!

Your not fat! I have an eight year old brother who is 95 pounds so don't talk about being fat. Whoa! 18 pounds congrats! You really stuck to what you were doing (hopefully it was a safe way to lose weight) Your doing great but why not try some simple lifestyle changes I follow my 10 rules and I only weigh 80 pounds and I'm 12! (but I'm very tiny 4' 9 or 10 i think) I'm sure they'll work for you

1. Take the stairs instead of the elevators or escalators
2. Always have an active sport planned....from walking your dog to a tennis match
3. Keep eating healthy but...do not limit the amount of food you eat....you can eat allot but just not allot of junk
4. Boost your self confidence don't go on the web and say I want to know if I'm fat...that looks kind of sad because your perfect the way you are!!!
5. Never tell someone they need to lose weight (it is just mean)
6. You can try to keep a healthy lifestyle in a healthy way don't try fad diets or dropping sweets altogether these things take time
7. Make sure your numbers are in between the 20 to 80% percentiles for your weight (by the way yours is)
8. Stay happy and don't obsess with eating
9. Do 20 sit ups push ups and other stretches once a day
10. Follow the rules and have fun living your healthy lifestyle

I feel really stupid about sending this text message to this girl I like a lot. I said "Hey, If you want to chill or if you get kicked out again and need a place to stay for the night, I have my dads house to myself tommorrow night! Just let me know. Bye" I was just trying to be nice, it wasn't meant to sound bad. I feel really bad about sending it now because I have a feeling she might take it bad. We did hang out last night and it was fun and we talked and laughed. We are good friends (we have been friends for about a year now) She knows I'm a nice guy, My intentions were good when I sent that text it wasn't meant to sound bad. I hate myself right now for sending it! If I screwed up should I just move on? I really like her, but I don't think she will ever like me more than a friend.

I'm a fan of the XD 45, but dont like that it doesn't have the double action. I like the feel of the double action, because it has less triger travel, and creep. Springfield is well known for there accuracy, although, hand guns aren't known for accuracy all that well. I just want to be ready for when the zombies come you understand. (Plinking, target shooting, and home deffence) So I turn it to you, the good people of Yahoo Answers. Penny for your thoughts chief! :)

I am opting towards cremation because I want to polute the oceans with my presence and sink to the bottom where some poor little creature that lives in the dark will accidently eat my ashes.

I noticed in the latest edition of CPU magazine, they were talking about different OS. They mentioned that there was a program that when you clicked it, you were able to run another operating system (Ubuntu, i think). Does anybody know the program or any program that lets you do that?

if you were going to be away from your new wife and newborn son for four months for boot camp in the navy and then a school which is in san antonio texas...( bars galore...there its a party city) would you remain faithful to her or go out to bars and possibly pick up a girl for the time you were there (7 weeks) almost two months...be honest. knowing she was states away.

i have a ? for anyone that is willing to answer it. i have just recently gotten divoreced, may 23 to be exact of this year and i am having a hard time letting go. he started dating another girl right away and it was basically the hell with me and his family. they broke up and we started hanging out talking and he'd see his daughter all the time. well now we moved into a place together andit seems like old times. what do i do, does he still love me, he says he wants to get back together but he isn't ready yet. am i wasting my time he is playing with my head, should i move on or hold on????

If you look at most reality t.v programmes lately, its a competition that requires the contestants to use manipulation.
I just saw a show advertised where gay and straight men are competeing for the affection of a woman to win a prize. She knows that some of the men are gay but not which ones. I know these people agree to be on the show but what does this say about us. These shows portray deception in an entertaining way. Are our children and us for that matter learning that deception is an acceptable trait to have and employ as a strategy in interhuman relationships.
( This question is about deception and manipulation not sexual orientation)

In his PDB (President's Daily Briefing) on 08-06-01, CIA Director George Tenet told Dubya about hijacking plans by Al-Qaeda to strike within the U.S.

The title of that PDB was, "Bin Laden Determined To Strike in US".

Dubya still blames CIA/FBI for not warning him ahead of time!

I Want to Buy That
A blonde goes into a nearby store and asks a clerk if she can buy the TV in the corner.

The clerk looks at her and says that he doesn't serve blondes, so she goes back home and dyes her hair black.

The next day she returns to the store and asks the same thing, and again, the clerk said he doesn't serve blondes.

Frustrated, the blonde goes home and dyes her hair yet again, to a shade of red.

Sure that a clerk would sell her the TV this time, she returns and asks a different clerk this time.

To her astonishment, this clerk also says that she doesn't serve blondes.

The blonde asks the clerk, "How in the world do you know I am a blonde?"

The clerk looks at her disgustedly and says,"That's not a TV -- it's a microwave!"

I am a 13 year old girl and I always get so frusterated and agry at nothing. My Nana (who is very strict and controlling) will walk into the livingroom while I'm sitting on the couch using my mums laptop and she will say "I'm going to go pick up grampa and then im going with Mary-ellen to workout and then I'll be home and we can have lunch" or something like that and I'll be so mad i want to punch her. I get so frusterated and angry at stupid things and i feel like I'm in darkness, i mostly get really mad when I'm talking to my Nana. I also get very sad and i used to cut but that isn't really my problem. If i am doing something like if im on the computer or playing videogames (mostly computer) and someone bugs me or tells me to do something i get so mad and i was wondering why am i getting so angry, especially at my Nana?
