There is only one major Catholic church and Catholics lean on this as proof that they are god's light in the world. The only reason this is the case is because for most of the Catholic churches history, anyone who had a thought outside of what the church leaders promoted was branded as a heretic and jailed, turtured, and killed(very Christian behavior by the way). I mean under those threats and after that much turture and murder no wonder there is only one Catholic church. Whats sad is this was done no matter how much the bible supported their position,

And God says where there is truth there is sure to be error. WHen God has his prophets, Satan flooded the scene with false prophets. Even at the time of Jesus there were thousands of people claiming to be either the messiah or having a messiah message. This didnt make JEsus any less legit. Whatever church is following God's word completely - there you have the light to the world. No church following traditions of men can be of God

My boyfriend and I have been together for 1 year and 4 months. Living together for 4 months. When we had only been dating for a few weeks, he up and moved 2 and a half hours away for a job. The town we are both from doesn't really have any good jobs. Well, I did most of the commuting to be with him (90%) and in April we moved in together as he found a job in our hometown. Now he wants to move again to a job 4 hours away! Without even talking to me first either. He just up and told me he hates his job and is moving to get a better one. He's been starting arguments since then too. I feel like he's laying the groundwork for just totaling leaving our relationship. Am I right?

even though I had turned of air con. We went on a fishing trip with my husband company, people from Lousiana, Arkansas, Ohio, Tennessee and Kentucky were all there, we were only gone for 4 days but the day we got bac my daughter, had gotten sick, she is feeling better now and I feel like I have a flu now. I feel like Sh@#*, is there a Flu going around this time of year? I have not ever gotten a summer Influenza so don't know, I feel a little better then yesterday, but still weak feeling and fever broke this morning. Has any one ever had a summer influenza? now my shoulder can be dislocated anytime, & when it does you see the big ridge or dip in between my arm and my shoulder. my shoulder can be dislocated on purpose. & now whenever i run it feels like my bones are rubbing together. what can be the cause of the pain & better yet, how do i make it stop? its been like a year now that this has happened

I am going to be a bride's maid in a wedding and am brining my six week daughter. My husband and I are divorcing and he will be out of state the night of the wedding. The reception starts at 7 and ends at midnight. I want to stay for the whole reception. I am not hiring a baby sitter because all of my baby sitters will be at the wedding. I plan to put my daughter in her baby carrier in a quiet corner at bedtime. Is this a good thing to do or should I leave earlier?

She told me I should cancel my car insurance since the car isn't running, but the insurance company is telling me that if I cancel it, I'd have to turn back in the license plates & that it would cost more to get insurance turned back on. Do you think the insurance lady just wants more money?

It looks inacceptable in your answers if a married man have women friends when they are real friends;always the ghost of distrust ,jealousy and insecurity are present;it's incredible.

Anyone who has a garden knows how easily many plants can die if they are not given ideal growing conditions. A worldwide flood would have made thousands of plant species extinct. Even if every plant on earth came to seed at the same time of year (which never happens because different species have different life cycles) those seeds would have germinated in the flood, and without a place to grow, would have died.

Please tell me, if the bible is true, then why do we still have non-aquatic plants?

I initially began using Yahoo to get help on some serious issues, when I knew I couldn't discuss them with anyone I knew.
Now it feels as if I've gotten into the addiction of asking questions on Yahoo for the tiniest of things; things I could probably figure out on my own, but insist on asking the Yahoo community. I am just as addicted to other internet activities as well.
How do I overcome this co-dependency or addiction? I'm afraid at some point it might get so bad as to consume my life.
