Bush is not stupid.

He's playing the political game, hoping he can stall until the end of his term and dump all the problems on somebody else's lap -- that's his version of "cut and run".

To the avatar above me...Yes...They were a bunch of liars too. Remember this was the Republican Congress. The ones that weren't in on it were duped by it. Ignorant and stupid work for them too.

Not only was this melee ignited by by lies from the political conservative warmongers but it has been fueled by their religious right wing extremist supporters. This has been a concerted, condensed, and connived effort by those that would enslave a nation in ignorance to achieve a profiteering goal at the populace expense and with the blood of American service personnel.

Could a liberal please explain what an illegal war is? I remember the congress authorizing the war. Were they illegal?
