Yes... there is a summer flu going around. With all those people around you I am sure you were exposed. I'm quite sure you know to drink plenty of fluids and rest.

I had it, no fun. :-(

Hope you feel better soon. Good luck!

There really is such a thing as summer flu. The flu is a virus, and just because it is more prevalent in the winter months, that doesn't mean that it just goes away in summer. It is still possible to catch a flu bug. Let me ask you this- did you have to fly in a plane to go on this fishing trip? I ask because an airplane is a really good place to catch a virus, because of the recirculated air in the cabin. Every time I go on a plane I come back with a cold or worse. I once literally caught a cold in-flight from Denver to Vegas, and spent my whole Vegas vacation with a miserable stuffy nose. Just take it easy for the next few days and take Advil to reduce the slight fever you probably have (which is why you feel cold.) Try and sleep as often as you can, though I know it's not easy with a small daughter and husband to take care of. Feel better soon!

It sounds like a slight flu bug, unfortunately that is totally possible even in the summer. Keep your self well rested, hydrated, eat soups, crackers, and breads, or anything your stomach can handle. You'll be better in a few days.

Hope this helps. Feel Better! :-)

you should see your Dr. before 24 hours there is now medicine to help keep the symptoms very minimal. if you have been seen recently your doc might just call something in.
