My wedding dress is a very light material and when I tried it on with my slip, you can see lumps from the puffy slip. It looks kinda like a garbage bag with leaves in it. I had it bussled and it looks even worse when I bussle it since its being pulled tighter. The slip is very stiff. Is there something I can do to the slip to make it softer or straigted it out. I need ideas on how to keep my dress from looking lumpy. And I can't take the dress back, it's already been altered and everything.

Or will they 'Kerry' it?

http://www.al.com/opinion/birminghamnews/cartoons/021904_stantis.jpg

To 'Kerry' means to totally avoid the issues at hand and focus solely on bashing Bush. You recall that John Kerry, a 2004 Presidental Candidate did that very thing.

Today's Democratic candidates don't present plans, solutions, or ideas. They just 'Kerry' it.

They denounce Bush yet offer no solutions of your own.

Tis the liberal way.

There is alot people who don't vote and such and there is a lot of discussion on here and from Sen. Ohbama's question.

I always had a social studies/civics class, every year until my senior year in high school, because I two of such classes my sphomore year. We have state assesment tests over this stuff. So, I am having a hard time beleiving there is an issue of education. Unless schools are cutting back such programs.

Honestly, I didn't start voting until my second year college. I try my best to educate myself on candiates, but I still feel clueless at times.

Why do we focus so much on the Presidential elections? Everyone focuses on the President. I think people need to be aware of Congress and the such.

I really think we need to put term limitations on legislators to elimnate career politicans. I still recoginze alot faces on C-Span from my little years. I think this will help dilute the two party cock fight and make them compete with the third parties.

Hi there. I don't want to ask my friends this because they are biased...

I have been meeting with an ex boyfriend and things seem to be going well, then suddenly he sort of went a bit cold. I bumped into him the other day and we went for a coffee and he said he hadn't been in contact because he got cut off. We had a laugh and had a good time together, then we went out for drinks that night and I went back to his and so on.

Then I found out he has been seeing someone, even though he was saying to me he really missed being with me.

So am I just a bit on the side? I'm confused. I can't ask him what's happening because I can't tell him how I know he's meeting someone else. He doesn't know I know and he hasn't mentioned anything.

What do you guys think? Is he really wanting to be with me? Or am I being taken for a mug?

Thanks!

Russia plans on dropping a flag at the bottom of the arctic waters to claim and prove that it is part of the Russian terroritory. They predict there are vast amounts of havestable resources deep under the ice.

While the U.S. is planning on dominating space for military superiority and acquiring plentiful resources on the moon and beyond, is it possible Russia is planning on dominating Earth's ocean technologically for resources and military superiority?

Instead of trying to beat the U.S. in a space race, is it possible Russia is taking a different route to power? Technically speaking, who ever controls Earth's oceans does control the world, since 3/4th of the world is made up of oceans.

If a 16 year had sex with a 23 year old, would it be illegal if the age of consent in the state which he lived was 16.

I have a friend who lives in another state. We've been friends for 5 years, and up until recently we were always there for each other. However, I still live with my parents, who have imposed a rule that I must leave my phone downstairs when I go to bed at night. This rule is OK with me because I do understand I need a good night's sleep; however, I am no longer there at night when my friend needs me. I have tried talking to my parents, but they won't budge on this as they think I intend to text ALL night. My friend says I'm the only one she's got, only she hasn't really got me anymore since I'm never there at night - and she means it about taking her own life, she's slit her own throat before. If I told my parents, and they told her mother, her mother wouldn't believe it. So it seems like there's no way to save her... What should I do?
