I hate chewing gum for that very reason. Yes, I have had it stuck to my shoe. There is nothing to do but rub your shoe all over creation to get it off.

Yeah, every time I put my foot in my mouth while chewing gum..

Just apply ice cubes to the gummed area..It will harden and should be easy to remove.
There are a number of "Gummy Gunk Off," type products available as well, that will allow for easy removal.

I wish that people would be more considerate than to just spit gum out wherever they feel like it. Sometimes I just wish I could sentence the gum chewer to have to jump into a pit of freshly spit out bubble gum, naked!

Anyway, use a razor blade to get the gum off, after using an ice cube on the gum to harden it.

Yes, I picked it off then washed my hands. You should need a license to chew gum because too many as*h*les in the general public don't know how to dispose of it properly.

This reminds me of a very funny story. Actually this person used tissue to remove it provided by me.

But..Last year I went to a wrestling event in my hometown & this person who stood behind me stood in some gum. He then accidently stood on a dead cigarette butt which stuck to the gum thus being stuck to the shoe!!.

Don't attempt to remove it while it's warm - it just spreads. Put your shoe in the freezer and when the gum has hardened you can remove it in one go.

I hope Sharky sees this question - he has a great link that I'm sure you'd love.

Even worse, I've had gum stuck to the side of my shoe. And it's still there.

YES! I did it twice. The first time I scrubed it off with a cloth but it took a long time. The second time I used an exacto knife.
