So my boyfriend is spiraling down into the disease of alcoholism at a deathly speed. I don't know what to do. He picks these really petty things to fight about, and it's just extremely irritating, saddening, and maddening. I don't know what to do. It's starting to affect our relationship.

My bf's mom says that I need to go to al-anon because I'm a "co". She went while her husband was alive and says that they saved her marriage.

Has anyone else gone to these when you have an alcoholic spouse/significant other?

(please don't tell me that I need to leave him--that's not what this is about)

I have a friend who hasn't had sex with her husband for many years. He says that since the birth of their child, he can't get the birth, the cutting, the blood, etc. out of his head, and he is turned off by sex. Is this a lie or an excuse? I think I have heard that this could possibly be a mental health issue. Does anyone know?

I was watching CNN the other night ..... G Bush and the new prince of England were at camp Davie and I swear Bush was wearing a Bomber Flight Jacket..... now the last time he wore a similar Jacket he was prancing around a carrier deck in front of a victory banner, that was I think 4 or 5 years ago , ...... My Girlfriend's ex-boyfriend has her dog. She has been trying to get the dog back since they had broke up. (about 2 years they've been broken up) She has the registration from the store for the dog in her name but he isn't registered with the county and the GPS for the dog is registered under her name. The only thing that is under her ex's name is the vet. She went to his house to try to get the dog and even offered up to $1000 for the dog back. He declined. My gf bought the dog as a puppy and we could even track the statements to prove it. He didn't even want her to see the dog and if it wasn't for his (now) wife to be there my girlfriend wouldn't even of got to pet the dog. Once she did pet the dog though she started to cry which made me feel bad for her, which brought me to writing this forum. Is there any cheap way of getting the dog back legally? I have the comcast modem that is like the phone service and internet in 1 modem and i have a problem. My daughter spilled apple sauce on it and it completely shut off. It was making like a frying sound and i unplugged it. I blowdryed it and plugged it back in and it stopped the frying sound but only the power light went on. Nothing else. After a while lights start going back on and now all the lights except the link light are on. The link light just flashes and I can not get online. I tryed calling comcast but that was a hassel and they automatically said pay for a new one or go thjrough like 5 hours of customer service. Any ideas on how to fix this so I dont have to buy a new modem?

ok so my best friend is having a party at her house this sunday and its also my birthday and my cousins christening. my mom said i'm not allowed to go because its my cousins mom special day and shes not leaving the party for the christening to take me to my friends house. my friend is having the party from 2pm-10:30pm and the party for the christening starts at 2pm. i asked my mom if i can maybe go to the christening party for 2 hours and then go to my friends house afterwards and she came out and said "NO! absolutely not! its becky's special day and i am not leaving the party to take you to your friends house!" but its my special day too! its my birthday :( i don't understand why i just can't go to both. do you think this is fair? i'm 15 btw, and i'm a good kid, i really don't think this is fair at all!

Evolutionophobia sufferers or ‘evophobes’ are people suffering a debilitating illness – the fear of proven scientific theories. The illness spreads easily from parent to child and in some areas, it is in near epidemic proportions. Treatment in the form of basic education is readily available and has proven to be very effective in a lot of cases but the illness seems to have a will of its own to survive. Sufferers appear like automatons chanting passages from an old book of nonsense stories and parroting phrases learnt from other sufferers deeper under the effects of the disease.

Eradicating this disease could be modern mans greatest achievement but it’s going to take a lot of effort. Do you care enough?
