I have started a diet this week.I have tried to lose weight many times but can never stick to a plan. I am eating 6 times a day.I start out drinking a glass of water followed by a breakfast of Fiber One cereal w/skim milk-2 cups of coffee with sweet and low. In about 2-3 hours I have a snack, either string cheese or 8 grapes. After 2-3 hours I have lunch which usually consists of 3 tsp of peanut butter and1 tsp of jelly on whole grain bread (which Ihave discovered I love!) and maybe some grapes or a couple of strawberries. In the afternoon I try to have some more fruit, like an apple or orange or strawberries. For dinner I usually have whatever the family is having but I keep my portion down to one serving of anything. For example,one night we had burritos but I measured the meat carefully and used whole grain tortillas. My dinner with 2 burritos was only about 500 calories. My calorie target is1300 and I can in below that. Can I lose weight quickly like this?

yesterday i recieved my new hard drive and i had recieved an error that i needed a disk to boot the drive and i put my xp cd in but it wouldn't except it. i went to bios to try and change the settings and it wouldn't let me. to make the long story short i called my uncle and he told me to install windows 98 first and then upgrade it to XP. i installed 98 and then put the xp cd in and tried to install it but after the reboot, and two options showing boot windows XP installation and the other option to start windows, i clicked xp and a blue screen came up and said a problem was found and windows was shut down, if this is the first time you saw this message restart your computer blah blah blah.. i did all that and still did the same thing. i couldnt uninstall windows 98 either. how will i be able to put windows XP on my new hard drive now?? it seems like its a lost cause.

Do you think its right that people in rent subsidized INDEPENDENT living apartments & suites are being told they cannot bring their pets with them? By the BC Ministry, not the landlords.
Even if the apartment building allows renters who arent subsidized to have small pets.
I know people who have no family, are so deeply emotionally attached to their "critters" that I believe that telling them they have to "dispose" of a "family member" (pet) is a form of abuse of these people & has severe negative consequences on their health. Its like telling them to kill their kids IMO
Even if you have family your pet is part of that family.
These rules now apparently apply to anyone in subsidized housing. Its just beyond cruel and stupid IMO
