What acts would that evil god commit?

Fred: No....there is no god. I'm just using this to illustrate that you really have no proof that God is good because an evil god would make you think he was good too.

rukidding: The "real" god is omnipotent and can act in any manner he pleases, including in an evil manner.

The evil god would probably build an eternal torture chamber full of fire for his enemy and anyone who dared oppose him. Read Revelation 14:17-20 to see the other thing an evil god would do. I would love to hear the other side of the story.

The problem with this would then be, if God was evil, where did good concepts, such as love and, well, good itself come from? How could they have arisen if a hypothetically evil God created everything?

Evil is a corruption of good, to have evil, you must first have good. If God were evil, He couldn't create a servant that was good and went against His desires.

Okay, to the people above me: THEORETRICAL QUESTION. SHUT UP.
Anyway. Evil dude would probably say that he was good and the other dude was evil and vise versa. Like in politics.
To the Rotweiler of Darwin: THANK you.

If it were the "real" God, then he couldn't be evil. Therefore, you can't argue this point.

That he is all-good?

That he is all-loving?

That he never lies?

Pretty much like biblical god.

Nobody notices his verses in which he commands wars, rapes and genocides to maximum level of sadism.
