I live in Maine and there are these brown Paotato bug like things all around my home. they don't look like potato bugs besides the fact that they are fat and round other than that they are totally brown (from what i have seen anyway) about the size of my pinky. (i know you don't know what my pinky looks like) any ideas?

When I have the money saved, should I use it to go overseas on a working holiday. The last time I did, I had to come back early (intended to be overseas for 1 year) cos I ran out of money, and was having more fun sight seeing so I didn't really work. I'm scared if I try again, the same thing will happen. I would be happy to stay in NZ and work and save, but it's kind of expected for young people (I'm 20) to do the whole working holiday thing isn't it? I just don't want to make the same mistake twice because my heart isn't truley in it. Should I maybe go for just a few months and see how it goes, or not even bother? Maybe I should wait until I'm older. I want to go to the U.K, but I don't want to go on my own, and I have no friends who would go either. Is it just a disaster waiting to happen?

"Implementation of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) began on January 1, 1994. This agreement will remove most barriers to trade and investment among the United States, Canada, and Mexico"

"It's not just American ports that are fast slipping into foreign ownership; it's highways, too. A Spanish company, Cintra Concesiones de Infraestructuras de Transporte, S.A., has bought the right to operate a tollroad through Texas and collect tolls for the next 50 years."

"Called the Trans-Texas Corridor (TTC), on which construction is planned to begin next year, this highway would bisect Texas from its border with Mexico to Oklahoma. Hearings held by the Texas Department of Transportation this summer attracted hundreds of angry Texans."

People use it in everyday conversations, the only problem is when someone says they love you, you don't actually know if they mean it as more than a friend. How are you meant to tell someone you love them more than a friend when friends are saying they love eachother just as enthusiasticly as a couple does. Haha sorry about my ramble I'm just curious.

What is it about Christianity that gives it so much strength, so much of a grip on our hearts and minds, so much empowerment and pull on our mental state?

9 times out of 10 an Atheist simply doesn't disbelieve in God, he has a rebuttal for specific facets of Christianity, he pins himself in a specific convictional-arena in relation to where Christianity is.

Is it the Devil vs. God sentiment, is it the frightening concept of Hell, is it the after-life scenarios? It is Jesus Christ? What is it? Why does this religion "Christianity" have so much influence on this earth.

be happy that Clinton was questioned under oath about his sex life? If Clinton had to respond to subpoenas about his affair with Lewinsky, why don't Bush's aides have to respond to the subpoenas about the attorney firings?

I'm not being flip; I'm curious why, in one case, it matters why the subpoenas were issued and in another, it doesn't. Could one of you rational Republicans explain this to me, please?

This fifth time I'll lay a file on the table. It is a short story by Bram Stoker that was cut from the original "Dracula," because it was too long, but published after Stokers death.

P.S. I'm not going to send this out to anyone who doesn't specifically ask for it as this isn't anything like the other "educational" files I send.

If there is enough interest I'll continure to modernize more files and put up questions as to who might want them. No, there are no strings attached. This kind of thing goes with being an Elder and Librarian of the Lore.

If this file would be of use to you, send me an Answers e-mail with an e-mail address to which I can attach the files. The files have too many characters to post on Answers.

Click on my avatar and check my "fans." That's all I can say. You would be surprised at how careful I am with these files--I have about 20, 000. It's your choice, but please don't scare away those that might wish to avail themselves of these files.

My little brother spends the summers with me but during the rest of the year he lives in wi with my mother in bad housing with her addict boyfriend. He isn't abused just lives in a paranoid parent who never lets him leave the house alone or spend time with friends. she will not let him come here to live even though his quality of life would be greatly improved. is there anyway around her desicion? its not healthy for a kid to be trapped in his house all the time. my mother has ptsd from losing her other son to a swimming accident 9 years ago and now will not let my brother do anything. She even threated him that he cannot even leave once he turns 18 witch is rubbish. is there a way to gain custody? is it done often and is a great battle? even though he is not abused? just lives in a bad situation? my mom has two full time jobs but barely pays rent and has her utilities turned off a lot. anyone know anything about this?

Yeah, another slow hockey day. We all know that nothing is perfect in anything we like. I'm pretty sure some basketball fans hate it when it gets slow in the final few seconds when all they do is foul and call time-outs. Also, yes, we all hate Gary Bettman and his cronies' business decisions, so let's keep this in the frame of the game of hockey.

Personally, I was never in favour of touch icing. No-touch icing makes the game go by faster as well as decrease the number of injuries on players when they race after the puck.

Two elderly ladies had been friends for many decades. Over the years, they had shared all kinds of activities and adventures. Lately, their activities had been limited to meeting a few times a week to play cards.

One day, they were playing cards when one looked at the other and said, "Now don't get mad at me... I know we've been friends for a long time, but I just can't think of your name! I've thought and thought, but I can't remember it. Please tell me what your name is."

Her friend glared at her. For at least three minutes she just stared and glared at her. Finally she said, "How soon do you need to know?"
