Two theories, no answers:

1. When objects get warmer/hotter, they expand. It's like the difference between a basketball on a freezing cold day, how it will barely bounce, but on a hot day, it bounces great! We used to run it under hot water until it expanded. Doors, metal, roadways, air, just about everything that I know of expands when it heats up; so, why not the human body?

2. You are working hard; so, you are drinking lots of extra fluids. Maybe you're bloating a bit.

As I say, these are THEORIES. But why fret it? Just do the right thing and trust that the rest takes care of itself.

If your muscles are sore, they are inflated and make you look fatter, if they do not hurt, it is psychology: you expect to be thinner right at the spot (in fact you lose weight when you urinate the "burnt fat") but as you see a fatter person that the one you expect, yo see yourself fatter.

You know, me too! After I exercise, I'll go the mirror and believe that I look fatter. It's ridiculous.

It's common sense, really. Your muscles get bigger when you exercise them... i'm not saying they get bigger after a while... they DO get bigger when you're exercising them, and after you've cooled down they get smaller again. It's not the fat that shows on your body after the exercise, it's the muscles.
