People use it in everyday conversations, the only problem is when someone says they love you, you don't actually know if they mean it as more than a friend. How are you meant to tell someone you love them more than a friend when friends are saying they love eachother just as enthusiasticly as a couple does. Haha sorry about my ramble I'm just curious.

Love is a concept and is alive and well and never will be over in any meaning .Love is what people feel and what people see every day in life.Love is the window to believe in something. No matter what.

Personally, I think love is not lost its just that people are become blind with material pleasures. Well, sometimes the best way to tell someone that you love them is to tell them right way than let the moment pass you by... I know it sounds like a line from some movie( infact I think it is lol) but it works.. now I'm sorry for rambling....

i do, although im one of the people that do that....i tell my best friend(practically my sister she goes to my house almost everyday and were close)that i love her all the time. i tell my cousin i love him all the time....but yes its always hard to figure out if love is more than a friend love or friends love. and more than anything i hate when people do that questioning thing..." do love me or love- love me or do u love-love-love me?" i hate that, one love is enough! and also people sometimes mistake like for love and love for like and sometimes they mean the same thing...dating is probably harder than they used to be. and yes im sorry too for my ramble about love.:)

Love means different thing to different people at different times in their lives, so no, I don't think the meaning of love has been lost.

no it's just has many meanings. you love your family, you love your friends, and you love your significant other. just because it's the same word doesn't imply it means the same thing.
