I had to rewrite the question and resubmit it because I couldn't edit the previous one.

Q2: If accepted and at the completion of OCS, what type of job would I be offered at the USCG?



-I am prior enlisted navy (5 1/2 yrs, E4/HM3) with honorable discharge.
-Not in Ready Reserves, Regular Reserves or IRR
-About to complete a Masters in Education.
-I am 30yrs old with 3 dependents (wife, 2 kids).
-If accepted, I understand that I would have to go through Officers Candidate School (OCS).

I have a Receiver, DVD player, DVR/Satellite Tuner, TV. Whats the best way to connect all of these? Is there an advantage to connecting video inputs to the receiver or is it better to connect the video inputs directly to the TV and the audio inputs to the receiver?

today was a pretty bad day for me. i failed an exam i really wanted to pass, i have no business to make money because of economic conditions. my daughter has hang ups about how i gave more attention to my son when he was so bad as a kid and she doesn't stay in touch, and my best friend is mad at me because she thinks i was trying to run her life. so basically i have no one to listen to how useless i feel right now. i think i will go cry in the shower and feel sorry for myself tonight.

I bought a refurbished XBox 360 from an eBay seller. I sent it back to the seller for repairs/replacement. If this next XBox 360 fails, is it possible for me to send it to Microsoft for a repair/replacement? here in england, we've suffered the coldest summer since records began. i think we need to start to produce more carbon, and chop down some more trees, to warm up our summer a little bit.

While there is some evidence that people who are circumcised are slightly less likely to contract certain sexually transmitted diseases, and it could possibly be more hygienic (both debatable; you could just teach boys to practise safe sex and wash properly instead) , the bottom line is that circumcision is an irreversible act of mutilation performed on people too young to decide for themselves whether they want it.

I mean, it might be more hygienic not to have toes, but how would you like it if all your toes had been cut off when you were a baby because it 'might' be more hygienic? That would be considered cruel, so why isn't disfiguring a child's penis also considered cruel? Especially considering it makes the penis less sensitive; you're taking away some of the kid's pleasure later in life, and there's nothing he can do about it!

I'd like to hear people's opinions on this.

Obviously I'm not talking about the small minority of people who do need it done for medical reasons.
