I was just wondering this, because my family is going on a long road trip, and we would like some new movies to watch on the way!

I haven't burned any DVDs yet, but for CDs to play in many automotive players, you must use the burning utility that came with your drive and close the session when through. Some players will not read a CD that has been just copied.

The easiest way to tell would be , burn one and see if it will play.

Sure can. The original DVD is just a burned copy from a production studio. If you burn it or they do, makes no difference, it's still a DVD. Happy movie watching travels to ya.

most likely they can be played, because i've done it before, but in many different vehicles
