...my BFF and I talk all of the time about her situtation. I tried to see it from all sides, but, now I know their mom is manipulating them. I have visited (a lot) and this past weekend when they were over to our place for a BBQ, they seemed to be happy, played with our kids, and with their dad, but, they were distant from my BFF. She is a sweetheart and has never said anything bad about their mom. Yesterday, my BFF called to say that the mom called and spoke to all of the kids, they all went into another room, and when they hung up, they kept quiet and started acting strange. Does anyone have any suggestions for me to help? I love them all, but, I am running out of ideas and I am starting to want to avoid them all...

We are a family of five and I care for my Grandma most of the time so really (6) in a four bedroom home.My husbands Step cousin and wife want to move in with us because they are having financial difficulties,(but who isn't) he has got his three children for the summer and other than that every other weekened.I feel like this is not going to work out very well and I do not know what to do or say.He already lives like 5 hours from here.He also is always calling wanting money and we do not give it to him.My husband wants to help because he said well he is family and we are close,but he is his step dads nephew.My husband told him that he really did not think it was a good idea and he said well we will sleep on the floor.He rents the house he lives in now and has nothing but one car and he is a heavy equipment operator and has to pay $600 a month in child support.And I do not know what else to say to my husband with out being really ugly about this entire situation.What should I do???????

well, i became vegetarian a little over 1 1/2 weeks ago. before i became vegetarian, i had never eaten pork or beef or red meat, just chicken & turkey. but i know how to get the protein that came from that. my whole life. well...my parents think its a horrible idea to stay vegetarian, that im gonne get sick and all. and tis really getting to me. but i wanna stay vegetarian very much, and im eating healthy and all, and i feel just fine. im almost positive i can survive. what do you think i should do ?? im 13 yrs old btw if that makes any difference.

Why our private parts will have to be hidden?And why those are to be called as "PRIVATE"?? Is it that for those are for giving birth to new men and women...is it not a quite riddiculous and lame logic cause?,we all know what we have in our body ,the male organ the female organ and how those look,so why do we need to hide those,is it for those will be seen by all other and they juzz any indovidual by those organ and they will like or love or marry for it's size and appearance,if so then it's a complete hypocracy..Models,actors/actresses and pornography artists show those organs in front of the camera and let others view those only for money and for nothing,but not in elsewhere..so it's also another form of hypocracy because they hide those organs and then expose and let other peoples see thoseso that they can earn money,so it's also a commercial-hypocracy and one kind of "cheating" in the form of "acting",doctors can see those,touch those,cut and repair those,so why not we all?

I stopped getting taller when I was 12. I've been 5'2" tall ever since. I know some people who are 16 & 17 who are STILL sprouting & getting taller. Does it vary from person-to-person? I've known girls who wer 5'0" @ the age of 13 & by the time they're 17, they're 5'10".

I found an 8th edition of a book I need for one of my classes for only .30cents, but the text book we are supposed to be using is a ninth edition which costs $85 something. Do you think it'd be alright for me to use the 8th edition... or would it really make things harder for me, since the instructor is teaching out of the 9th?

My husband and I are fixing up a old farm house.....I'm not really sure what color or colors I should paint my kitchen. I need some advice...I don't want to go to dark or to bright but I do want a change. The walls are a light mint green color and the cupboards are white right now.
