Should you pinch and wait until you get home? Or should you relieve yourself at work?

Sorry...I had to chuckle at this, I've struggled with the notion myself! One good way to avoid this problem is to "train your bowels"...in other words, get into the habit of going to the bathroom first thing in the morning or whenever is most convenient for you. It's not the easiest thing in the world to make happen, and there will be days when it just doesn't work out right...but it's a worth a try!

There was another good idea, about bringing a small air freshener with you. It makes the situation less stressful and you might be able to do your business quicker if you aren't so self conscious.

You should relieve yourself at work because otherwise it'll get uncomfortable. If the restroom is big enough, no one will know if you are the one to stink it up. If the restroom is very small, bring some air freshener spray and leave it on the sink. Chances are, other people will want to use it too and they'll be glad it's there.

Im with you, i cant deuce at work, thankfully i work so close to home. Its only a 10 minute drive. But even in emergencies ive been able to hold it till 5. If you must, find a restroom thats out of the way, and not many people use it, flush often, and bring some lysol.

You should relieve yourself at work - - - RELIEVE being the operative word here....no sense in going around uncomfortable all day long. Afterall, everyone poops. It's a natural part of being a human being. If you're embarassed, just pack along a small trail sized bottle of air freshner or flush a lot --- particularly when it's loud.

Relieve yourself at work.

It's unhealthy to make a habit of holding.

I assume you ask because it can stink up the ladies room. Keep in mind, it's a BATHROOM, people know it's there to allow individuals to relieve themselves of bodily wastes. Any reasonable adult would not expect the toilet to smell like roses and lilies.

However, it's a good idea to use air freshener, and make sure the toilet is completely flushed.

Pinching and waiting is unhealthy for your colon. Your workplace has a toilet for a reason............for workers to get their poo dumped.

Everybody poops! LOL. Thats what I have to tell myself when I have to go at work. I work 10 hour shifts and at times its just necessary.

It depends if you're self-conscious about being human or not. Everybody poops, everybody farts . . . I'm pretty sure everybody picks their noses (except me), and yet we all continue to be offended by the smell of our own humanity. I guess the decision to either sh** or stay off the pot hinges on whether you want friends or irritable bowel syndrome. :)

Relieve your self at work, it is not good to hold it in.

I'm embarassed to go at work - I can't even go if there are a lot of people at my own house. But if ya gotta go, ya gotta go.
Sometimes you just can't hold it.
